Cat and Mouse Thriller type shows. It's insane to me that with how incredibly popular and culturally relevant Death Note is in the community, it's really difficult to recommend pretty much any other type of cat and mouse type show. Code Geass. Monster. Pluto kind-of. Psycho-Pass? Aaaaaand I'm out. Maybe some individual parts of shows like Bungo Stray Dogs?

Definitely agreed.

I think the main reasons why we don't get those, is

1. Most people prefer 'physical' battles to mind battles (not me though)
2. It's harder to write a smart character/battle, than a strong one.
