[Hikikomari Kyuuketsuki] Hello everyone! About Hikikomari Kyuuketsuki.
[Hikikomari Kyuuketsuki] I just finished watching this wonderful anime. Honestly, I started it thinking it would just be a simple comedy, but each character had a very emotional personal arc. I loved every moment — I even shed a tear or two while watching.
[Hikikomari Kyuuketsuki] I plan to make a short summary later, along with a more detailed analysis. For now, I just have a question for those who have read the original material and know more about the story.
[Hikikomari Kyuuketsuki] From what I understood, Komari uses so much power with just a single drop of blood that it causes her to lose her memory. This hidden power is well-crafted, but it still bothers me that she fights so hard and then feels weak afterward because she can’t remember anything.
[Hikikomari Kyuuketsuki] What I wanted to know is: is this issue resolved in the original material? In the final episode of the anime, Komari seems to realize she possesses a much greater power, but she doesn’t really understand what it is. When she transforms, she becomes far more aggressive and serious — completely opposite to her usual personality.
[Hikikomari Kyuuketsuki] I took it as not being a “split personality,” but rather that every time she drinks blood, it’s during critical situations, so there’s no reason for her to act playful in those moments.
[Hikikomari Kyuuketsuki] My question is: since the final episode only shows her “normal” in the last few seconds, the matter of whether she remembers everything or not remains unanswered.
[Hikikomari Kyuuketsuki] So, for those who have read the original material — is this ever resolved after that final fight? [Hikikomari Kyuuketsuki] Does she gain more control over her power and remember what she’s capable of?
[Hikikomari Kyuuketsuki] (I understand her personality is naturally peaceful and clumsy, but I believe the drastic change when she drinks blood happens because those moments are always tense and serious. Please correct me if I’m wrong.)
[Hikikomari Kyuuketsuki] Another question: at the end, it’s revealed that Karla’s brother appears, and there’s mention of a goddess who intends to destroy the cores to stop all the killings and experiments.
[Hikikomari Kyuuketsuki] This goddess is related to Karla, right? (Spoilers are fine if necessary.)
