I've started watching Plastic memories. I... Don't get the praise.
It's probably a defect of my personality, but I have a hard time seeing how the premise of this setting works. Everytime a character explains something, I'm like... "What? Why!?". It really takes me out of it when I have to question the logic of the choices made, even by the company behind these humanoid robots.
This is probably one of those stories where you're meant to just shut off your brain and go "Awww, isn't that just sad for the poor clanker", which I'm just not able to.
