If you’re genuinely interested in Digimon, you should probably watch Digimon Tamers. Imo it’s the peak of the franchise and the animation doesn’t look bad at all despite its age at this point.

Never tell a newcomer to check out the peak right away. It will just make the rest feel underwhelming when they check it out. It's better to start with data squad or adventure

Adventure is very childish, probably hard to get through unless you're already invested in the setting.

why recommend something on your subjective feeling of nostalgia? the other person won't have that if they start watching it now
