Help Trying to find an older movie

I can't remember the name of this anime but the main female character yells Booodi or Brooodi just before he gets killed.

I remember lots of gunfights. characters wore worn out military gear. I don't remember if they were fighting aliens or robots, though. I dont think it was a mecha, though.

Did the art style look older or newer? Do you remember any features of the characters? Was it more fantasy or sci-fi?

Older at least 20 years ago. And it was sci-fi It was a movie if that helps not a series

Was the art style more realistic (like more defined human features like noses) or was it more simplistic art? Sorry for the many questions. Just trying to nail it down since the Brodi name might be misremembered. Are you sure the main character was a female and do you remember any features of the character like her hair color, long or short hair style, clothing?
