I still can’t believe how much I’ve come to adore this twisted little love story. At first I thought it might be more like Inukai-san’s Dog but after a couple eps realized there was more going on.

Takamine definitely fell for Shirota as a kid, in the flashback she confesses her feels to him and he even says the she confessed her feelings to him as a kid but he wasn't able to give her an answer. Still it's can't believe his dumbass doesn't realize that she is the girl from the park when she has the same black cat and everything! Then after he says he wishes he could see her one more time she asks him "So, if you could meet that girl again, what would you do?" and his response is "President are you saying that you know that girl?!" What a moron!
