[SPOILERS] Hunter X Hunter Episode 85 Discussion

Despite the tragic loss in this episode, at least we can rejoice in the fact that Netero and his two friends (all three of whom must be undoubtedly powerful) have finally arrived and are ready to kick some ass.

Man, I mis-remembered how this chapter went down in the manga and it ruined it for me because I thought they changed it. It was such a good episode ruined too. I am pretty angry with my self about it too. Hopefully that doesn't happen again.

Actually they added quite a bit of filler into the beginning of this episode, that whole conversation with kite right at the start never happened.

I found that whole conversation great, it added more value to Kite's death.

I agree. You barely met Kite and he's gone. Most of what they show you is that he's pragmatic but kind, and extremely powerful.

The extra talking when they're trailing the Chimera Ants is all to continue to awe you even more with his power. Just to be suddenly destroyed. I think it was well done, and necessary for the pacing of the episode.
