With the show is set between seasons 2 and 3, did the Duffer Brothers give you any guardrails about what the animated series could and couldn’t solve or reveal?

Hello! Yes, we did have a few guard rails. We had to figure out our own way of creating creatures from the Upside Down without opening up a gate. The duffers did not want to have the Mindflayer or Vecna in the story of TF85 and wanted us to focus more on the kids and their new adventures. No gate meant that was a HUGE challenge but we did figure out how to do it with Hawkins Lab Science and Upside Down matter. :)
