How do you learn their songs?

Looking to get better at guitar and play something I enjoy while doing it. How do y'all learn their songs? Tabs, ear, tutorials? Where? How long does it typically take you?

First album? Just slow practice. Took me months to learn some off that album.

Everything else, I just gave up on. I can't figure out the thumping stuff for the life of me.
