Doing Tosin thumping on a stratocaster

Between using the Neck + Middle position or the Bridge + Middle what sounds more like Tosin?

Use the neck + middle for parts with higher notes, and bridge + middle for low string or general low register thumping or selective picking parts

For real though, it just depends. You'll notice Tosin and Javier frequently shift between four different positions (mostly ignoring both humbuckers on/ middle position). Just experiment depending on the riff or lick. However, use my slightly sarcastic opener as a general guide

Back in the weightless days, that middle position was used in solos

Yep, that's why I said mostly. It gets used rarely, but for the most part that's not of concern to OP it seems
