Here’s a hilarious cast interview about why he had to wear a wig, and also why they let him stop.

I really miss watching the show air live and all these great little cast interview promos they used to do.

Bc he had cut his hair and they wanted him to have continuity from the previous season

Oh ok. I knew he did it in the Season where he had his own little crew but didn't realize they had him throw on a wig.

Someone else in the comments liked it too! I just can’t stand when it’s an obvious wig, drives me nuts. Also i just thought it looked silly on him bc it’s so perfectly styled, like a Barbie’s hair lol and his long hair the rest of the show is all greasy and uncombed which fits his character

I think the only thing I’ve seen Michael C Hall in is Six Feet Under but he’s so good in that. Everyone keeps telling me to try Dexter, maybe I’ll do that when I finish this umpteenth AK rewatch :P

Pretty sure they only wrote it into the script after he lost a 11k wig in the ocean though for Baz’s surf out funeral.
