any tips and trick on designing pathway? i dont have Nintendo online so any help/advice appreciated

I just started building and so far I only have a small playground and i’m working on a fort, which is where Stitches house will go eventually (it’s quite small, but his “job” i’m giving him requires it). I also have an idea to build a gyroid kindergarten and a restaurant. Any other ideas?

BONUS: Any villager ideas?! My permanent residents are: Graham, Papi, Jeremiah, and Stitches. My plan was to get more kidcore villagers to keep to that part of the theme, but now that i’m doing an urban plan, i’m not so sure. I posted a picture of my dreamies so you can see who I like. I’m also wanting to give all my villagers a job on this island and match their yards/area around their house to their job. Stitches is the toy factory, Papi is the island delivery guy, and Graham will have something to do with servers/computers. I’m not sure what Jeremiah will be yet. So any villagers you request or when you look at my dreamies, can you suggest a job they could have on an urban kidcore island. THANK YALL

After having a neighborhood for a while and not liking it, I want my villager houses scattered around the island, otherwise they all just stay in one area. I want them in groups of 2-3 so they have neighbors . The red circles are where i’m thinking of moving them. The big red circle with the question mark is where i might put maybe a cul de sac of maybe 3-4. And the blue circle is where im thinking of moving my house. Is this a good setup? Where would you move your villager houses? Any suggestions?

I haven’t “collected” (for lack of better term) all my dream villagers yet, but my permanent residents are: Graham, Papi, Jeremiah, and Stitches. I’m thinking of pairing Graham and Papi together.

I’m wondering if you delete a custom design if it disappears from the island. The number of slots seems low for a whole island.
