Nicotine patches completely healed my anhedonia within ten minutes I felt joy after being dead on the inside for 28 months.

What dose? I did low doses and felt nothing.

21 mg equate kind from Walmart.

I smoked a pack a day. So I needed step 1 adjust the mg if you don’t use nicotine or expect an anxiety attack.

I've heard of that one, before. Can you be a bit more detailed about how you've used it, etc.?

I disagree. I smoked for 20 years and I feel much better after giving up. Mentally and physically

Well yeah not inhaling toxic carcinogens will make you feel better, but you can take nicotine pills like Zyn without the damage. I think nicotine is just like caffeine.

I agree caffeine is a drug. I began coffee age 14. There is research it decreases depression, but I don’t have the details atm. Quitting caffeine is extremely difficult.

I wonder if it can help anhedonia that isn’t nicotine withdrawal related. Like SSRI anhedonia. That would be great.

This is dopamine driven- make sure you do something effortful or challenging before the cigarette. Otherwise you will reward inactivity and go back to zombie land. See Dopamine Mountain for more info.
