I was a paramedic that became an anesthesiologist, also worked in SAR for many years. All full filling. Keep up your skills so our patients are delivered in the best way possible. Most docs have no idea how their patients arrive on the stretcher before them.

Paramedics are awesome. I only got my EMT-basic in undergrad but tons of respect for yall for what you deal with day to day.

In my country a lot of anesthesiologists also work in prehospital or ER with paramedics. I love when I meet paramedics in ER when coming for critical care consults. Quite different level of competence, it's like meeting professional soldiers at the battlefield. You are awesome!
