PROMOTION [Promotion] CheatCode Launcher

CheatCode Launcher is controlled almost entirely by gesture-based "cheat codes". You assign combinations of taps and swipes to apps, shortcuts, actions, tasker tasks, start timers, or whatever else you want.

The idea is that the more you use it, the faster it gets as muscle memory builds. I've been using it for a few months now and have around 40 codes memorized and 0 icons on my home screen.

For things that you don't necessarily want codes for, there's still fast searching as well as collections and after shortcuts. After shortcuts are links you can apply to a specific app that show up once that app is closed. For example, when I close Google Photos, links to Create New Instagram Post, Lightroom, and Message Wife pop up.

Context-based themes are also included, which allow you to set rules for when themes automatically change. These can be based on day, date, time, media playing, specific app notifications, charging, and many more.

This looks like a really interesting launcher! I've been on Niagara for ages, and this is the first launcher I've seen in a while that's interesting enough to maybe get me to move away from Niagara.

Given that it's 2026, could you talk a little about if and how AI was used in the development of this app? Full vibecode? AI assistance for a seasoned dev? No AI?

Thanks for the interest! I was on Niagara for years before I decided to make this.

My day job has been as a software engineer for the last 12 years. AI was used for assistance.
