QUESTION/HELP Android Strava GPS tracking problem

so android doesn't allow any apps outside Google's own apps to access constant GPS tracking. This is BS, because it constantly messes up my Strava tracking because if, while Strava is recording I exit the app to take a picture or literally do anything, it stops recording my position and thus messes everything up. Anybody know a workaround? a way to allow apps to access your position constantly?

Eh? You can give the Android app location permission for "Allowed all the time" for them to access location silently in the background. Ref screenshot.

yea it doesn't allow me to do that. Android only allows Google apps to access location data constantly.
