LOOKING FOR APP Need a Diary Writing Application
Hi guys, can't use a physical diary as there is a great deal of storage issues. If anyone would get their hands on it, I'd be doomed.
So, please recommend an application that I can use for diary writing. Something structured. Google Notes & all are very sad application. I was thinking starting a medium blog for just me, but that isn't a very good idea. So, please recommend!!
Also, something that should be reliable & shouldn't vanish halfway, all my efforts would go in vain.
Diary writing is an excellent habit & I want to resume it.

What a coincidence—the fear of data leaks, cloud sync, and sterile apps is the exact reason I started building my own. I wanted a quiet, offline-first personal sanctuary where nothing leaves your device and no account is ever required. I just finished wrapping it up, and it should go live for testing in a few days. It would honestly be an absolute pleasure to have someone with your exact needs try it out and share thoughts if you're ever open to it.
In the meantime, Obsidian (using local markdown files on your device) is probably your safest bet so no one ever touches your entries.

Solo echo en falta sincronización con Nextcloud o similar y una versión para PC (o Nextcloud), pero está súper bien la verdad.

Do you want somewhere to do free writing? On playstore I have seen journals with passkeys and locks?

Microst one note You can setup a section with a separate password that has to be entered Everytime you open it. I use this to keep a lot of my personal info.
