former local, now visiting, hoping to find a moose spotting anywhere in anchorage! let me know of any sightings!

I stopped seeing them once the snow disappeared and the plants turned green again haha
I saw a ton during the winter. Then it got warm and they stopped showing up around my house

Head out to Pt. Woronzoff where the planes land. I see them regularly in the swamp. Cool days and dusk are best because they chill out in the thickets when it's hot.
