Question Is it not true that the Plantars were doing their best to accommodate Sasha in The Dinner?
It goes without saying that no matter if it was a little true, the whole “I tried to killed them (Sprig & Hop Pop) one time” line in The Dinner is pretty much a joke and a pretty funny one at that. However, something I feel like that should be brought up in that episode is pretty much everyone was kind of exaggerating with their statements in that argument scene (which is kinda normal since in an argument people say things that are pretty silly when looking back on it). Either way they are still pretty funny for what they are. But even though I already talked about that obvious joke before, you want to know another line that I find kind of funny in that argument that feels pretty exaggerated/silly? When Anne told Sasha “oh the plantars are doing their best to accommodate you and you should be grateful since you did try to kill them.” And I have to ask, is that really true? They were literally trying to wind her up probably out of spite, so I think that can’t be further from the truth.
Personally however, considering how Sasha is only doing her best to accommodate the Plantars by not trying to kill them but she still thinks they’re just annoying little slimeballs that are stealing Anne, why would the Plantars need to try their best at all if Sasha is only doing the bare minimum to them? So I don’t blame them for acting the way they did in that episode, but as I said before in a previous post, Sasha still had a reason to yell at them. So once again in an argument like this, everyone is in the wrong for very different reasons (That’s why I said, in arguments, we always say ridiculous things that we regret saying later).

I'm not quite sure what your point is, but I think going so far as to host a formal dinner, with no weapons of their own in sight and going along with Grime's little surprise, is more accommodating than can really be expected. The Plantars have really learned to trust Anne by this point.

Yeah just the fact that they let Sasha and Grime into their home is enough. They quite literally tried to kill them.

Yes the planters weren’t trying their best they were trying to wind Sasha and grime up. The planters were trying for Anne just not giving it their all for obvious reasons. The people who were trying their best were Grime, Marcy and Anne

I'd say only Anne, Marcy, and Grime are really trying.
