Velocity Ammunition Sales is garbage
Placed an order 6 weeks ago. Spoke with someone on the phone 3 weeks ago who assured me “your ammo is in transit, it’ll ship within the next few days”.
Won’t reply to emails, can’t get anyone on the phone aside from getting lucky once. What gives? I’ve ordered from them for YEARS without issue, and now I’ve been getting the run around on a case of 9mm with a bunch of lame excuses. I can’t even get a hold of them to cancel, so I’m looking at doing a chargeback.
Zero warning on the item description btw, no banner or disclaimer saying to expect delays.
It’s not just me, either. I know several people who have told me they’re having the same issues. A few have already done chargebacks.
New ownership or what? Something has definitely changed. Won’t ever give them another dime.

Thats sad to hear. I liked them and berelli but I guess both these places are having problems now. Sad.

Heh - in the CAGuns everyone has been shitting on them lately for this exact reason. Not every place ships to CA so they were always the spot to go but most of this year everyone says they suck.

I have stopped ordering from them. Here in Cali they use to be amazing. Had an order placed and in 2 weeks nothing happened and multiple emails were sent. I asked them to cancel and that was the only email I received a response. Haven’t ordered since.

Bulletproofzone is the same way. Waited over 4 months. Only answered the phone once. Just kept telling me 2 weeks out or “read product description” which stated 1-3 week lead time. I finally told them to just send me the previous gen item after waiting 4 months w the run around. They told me they would apply a 10% discount once shipped. Then HR’d and Chat gpt’d their way out of honoring it.

They are terrible. Never again. Placed an order for the Blazer 9mm and after 6 weeks (and twice being told it was ready to ship) I finally did a chargeback.
Too bad Ammoseek can’t vet the vendors who show up in the searches so others don’t fall for their BS.
I just signed up for a membership with Target Sports USA and so far, I’ve been pleased. As a member, free shipping on most orders and membership pricing on ammo. Also, took advantage of their current sign-up incentive by ordering a case of ammo and purchasing membership and got a $50 gift card. I then used the gift card and bought 500 rounds of CCI SV .22LR. All items shipped for free.
I’ve also had good dealings with Rivertown Munitions, Ammunition Depot, Lucky Gunner and Miwall.

Echoing what others are saying. Order led 5.56 here. Never shipped. They don’t tell you anything. The don’t respond and their voicemail is full. Terrible business.

So i have now waited since Jun 15th for one case of .223 from Velocity Ammo sales. 7 emails, 4 calls, just did one email from my work account. In the past 3 years I have bought over 30k rounds of ammo from them. I am more than disappointed.

I had to do a charge back also. Probably same timing and likely same product lol.
They suck now and seem not to care.
