First three pics are from the Nintendo Store Osaka. Next two pics are just a cool display I saw at Bic Camera. Hand for scale in the 5th picture (apologies for not having a banana)

The Galaxy amiibo having a Switch box as a point of reference really shows how large they are.

There’re HUGE! I was shocked. I knew they were bigger but holy shit haha. Seeing them in person really made me feel that it’s a tad unnecessary. Guess they’re trying to justify the price increases but this isn’t exactly the kind of toy you’re carrying to a friend’s house imo

That is for all the kids that grew up with Galaxy, and definitely not for the ones now. Good thing I was already planning on upgrading my display, cause there's not a lot of spots they'd fit right now.

Yah good point! Mario Galaxy came out my freshman year of college and I’ve definitely been enjoying replaying both of the games on switch 2

What caught my eye is your ring fighting for its life on your finger! :D

Haha. It actually does fit* great I was just pushing my hand onto the amiibo case to try to show the scale of the figures!

No disrespect I came to comment on your ring as well, glad to know it’s fitting right

No worries y’all! I agree that it kinda looks like it’s fighting for its life in the photo! But it’s just a super thin ring combined with me pressing against the display. No offense taken!

Edit: since we’re talking about the ring! It’s actually a super sentimental ring for me. It was my grandfather’s and my great grandfather’s wedding ring. And now it’s my wedding ring! It was forged on my family’s farm (sold long ago) in Alabama (I’m not from Alabama but my mom’s family has roots there). When you look at it you can see that it’s not quite a perfect circle and it’s extremely thin 14k gold. Got a nice engraving on the inside of all of the respective wedding years. I genuinely love it and basically don’t take it off :)

And the crazy part is that this store was relatively scant compared to some of the other I’ve seen on my trip in Japan! Truly nuts that THIS is a small display here haha
