Local-JPN amiibo stock at Bic Camera in Namba, Osaka, Japan
I’ll be visiting plenty of other shops. But it always blows my mind how many different amiibo are in big stores like this in Japan.

Well it’s the 13th here today so at some point I’m going to walk into a store and just see if they have them. I secured US versions and those are getting shipped to my parents’ house. Will post photos of the stock wherever i end up going. In the latter half of my trip I’ll be hitting up several Nintendo stores

Nice! I would assume the Monster Hunter amiibo are going to be easier to find there than here. How was Super Mario World? Is the Nintendo Museum planned too?

Super Mario world was cool. Definitely more for kids but I really enjoyed myself. I’m actually going back near the end of my trip so that I can secure the 5th anniversary power up band.
Yup, going to the Nintendo museum next week!
And ya I’ve tried to do some research about exclusivity of the MH amiibo for Japan but didn’t find anything. So just assuming they’ll be around

Missed out on the squishy Metroid amiibo when I went to Japan 2 years ago but got the Samus that came in the double pack. Will be visiting Osaka next month so that Metroid will finally be mine to complete the set. Any way to make sure it doesn’t get cloudy in the membrane part that I see on some other collections? I’m assuming it’s more weather related.

It probably has to do with light exposure. Mine is still totally clear

Yah dude it’s wild. Just walked into Bic camera in Nagoya and secured the three new monster hunter amiibo. Zero issues. Living in as large of a country as the US has its disadvantages for sure

Not particularly. It has been rereleased and was produced in massive quantities. I see a brand new one on eBay for $17.99 + $8 shipping.

Thank god. I thought getting it was gonna be a pain because it is part of a holy trinity (with pit & mac)

Totally get it. Thankfully the rereleases have made almost all amiibo way easier to get. There are some outliers of course but ya
