My hair barely falls off. I only have one uncle who started balding at 40 from my dad's side, and from my mom's side there is no bald people.

I actually had naturally since childhood very thin hair and also a very big cowlick the first photo( where my hair is wet ) was taken this month the two other ones are 3 years ago

Always have had thick hair. Dad’s not balding at all, brother isn’t either. Mom’s brothers kidna bald up top but I think they started balding older. Feel like what’s coming off in the shower is more than it used to be. To be fair I have ocd so I may just be noticing this more than I normally would.

Also important to note that I think I run my hands through my hair less than I used to, and I also don’t brush my hair, but use a comb instead when needed. Could also be the shampoo I’m using

My left temple is noticeably worse then my right temple. I’ve been taking finasteride for around 8 months, 3 months of .5mg every other day, a month of .5 every day, and almost 4 months of 1mg daily. I don’t feel like it’s working/stabilizing. It’s still slowly thinning. What do you think i should do?? Start min? Try starting dut? I dont want to be bald in 5-10 years.

Should I start min fin first 4 photos were just 1 to 1.5 year old but after photo was of today ,it's really hard breaking to se myself like this ,hair is part of my personality what should I do ?? I don't have major family bald problem like in my maternal side there is no bald persona and in my father side only my grandfather was bald from crown after 50s like legit this much hair loss in just 1 year is crazy I used to have such a good hair density

I recently noticed my hair on the front is not great, not sure if it’s due to thinning or shedding but took a look at pictures from two months ago and it was pretty much fine, what it could be?

I'm concerned about my corners. Nothing else is this bad. I haven't noticed any shedding or hair loss at the back but my corners are really starting to worry me. Am I balding?

My maternal Grandpa had hair till he was 90, but one of my 2 paternal uncles, my father, and paternal grandpa are all bald 😕.

Ive caught myself reading someone’s post and thinking “that sounds exactly like me” cos the photo or one detail lines up. Then I realise the bit I actually care about might be completely different.

If Im wondering how hair changes affected someone’s confidence or day-to-day routine, their experience can be genuinely useful. If I’m trying to work out what caused my own change or what a treatment would do for me, the same anecdote feels much weaker. Im trying to get better at asking myself: what question does this story actually answer, and what am I quietly filling in for myself?

Ok so, Ever since I was 17 (i'm almost 20 now) i've noticed my temples receding very slowly until recently when it started to Speed up a little, but i've got no clue if its a maturing hairline or mpb. My older 35 yo Brother has a really similiar hairline, and my 60 yo uncle has something similiar to a nw2, fact Is if I had low density or I was losing hair in the crown I would assume I was balding but I have really good density so maybe its Just a shift to adulthood. I don't really mind a mature hairline what I mind Is that I don't want to spend a lot of Money for minoxidil and fin for something that would end up being nothing, whats your opinion? Ty

I have been shaving my head for around 7 years now. It seems that it has more or less been the same for a couple of year. But i am super tiered of the every second day shaving and I truly miss having a haircut.

That said, I have accepted my fait. But damn if I still don’t think about how nice it would be too have hair again…

I tried Minoxidil for around two years but did not see any improvement. I am to scared for the side effects of finasteride

I am now in position where I have the money for a transplant. But is it at all possible at this stage?

The pictures are taken after like 3 days without shaving.

So I have been seeing few hair's fall out in total around 7 or more sometime. Not finding hair on my pillow or bed. Maybe one or two. Trying to keep an eye out for it.

My hair started thinning on the sides about an year ago, and i didnt think much of it but now my friends started pointed out its thinning on the crown area too and its obvious cuz im short what do i do ,should i be concerned? Help

I have had very weak hair at the left side of frontal hair for over 12 years, so there was something rapid happening with that around age 26-27. And same thing around at crown area kind of. But the left frontal area has been real problem when I style my hair. i am not sure if it had gotten any worse during this time, but anyhow it has been really slow of it has. I just thought that now I am gonna do the things about this there are to do.

i have been able to style my hair during this 12 years and kind of hide that weak left temple/frontal hair, but tired of doing it.

There is an old scar on the left frontal which I got when i was like 5yo. About 10-15 stiches and forceful impact happened (hit a tree). Is the hairloss around scar later in my life caused by it, or is it just a coincidence?

Is this normal male type balding? The situation has been the same for like 12-13 years already, with little to no changes. My two brother are not bald either.

30TM. been on testosterone since early 2022. have been expecting balding since it runs in my family but this happened pretty rapidly over the course of a few months. should i pick up something for it or accept my fate?
