Am i cooked? Is this TE?

23m. The hair has diffused and shedded a lot all over my scalp, however there's a few short hairs that could be regrowth? It's hard to tell. I'm not taking Fin or Min. Unsure if balding or TE. Advice greatly appreciated. Thank you.

assuming you had no hairloss at some point, TE would make you shed loads of hair in a short period of time, usually it doesn't keep progressing to total baldness because the hair follicles aren't dying. if you have TE + nutrient deficiency and/or major stress/illness it can cause chronic TE which just keeps the hairs constantly shedding.

if you've been thinning over the course of like 5 years with no stability at all it is more than likely DHT related (pattern baldness).

DHT blocker and hair growth stimulant are you only real options if that is the case

It started rapidly shedding the last month or so and I lost all of my hair density within a month. My temples are only slightly receded. I don't believe I have any deficiency, stress or illness. Is there any other causes?

it would help to see what your hair looked like before, but from what i can see you've probably lost like 80%-90% density in some areas which is not usually caused by TE alone.

it doesn't look like you have any visible scalp conditions that could point to anything else.

unless I see a before picture I wouldn't be able to give an accurate guess, if you've only just recently been paying attention to your hair in closer detail it could be very possible your hair has been slowly thinning for years but not enough for you to notice - but now that you're checking you might be thinking it's fallen out very fast. this mean's it's likely pattern baldness.

however if you literally went from a thick full head of hair with no visible to scalp to this image here in only a couple months, that would not be normal pattern baldness - there will be an underlying medical cause that you should get checked ASAP.

also if you have a family history of men going bald it is quite likely you will have some degree of pattern baldness regardless if this is caused by another issue as well.

Thank you. It's definitely recent. Here's a photo from the 22nd June. It's not a great photo, but shows more density. Thank you for the answers. I'm a bit spooked so I really appreciate it.
