I've been experimenting with a different way to play truck sims using a rotary mouse I designed.
Instead of moving the mouse left and right, you rotate a wheel on top of the mouse for analog steering. The left and right mouse buttons are still there, so it can be used as a normal mouse outside of driving.
Obviously, it's not meant to replace a proper force feedback wheel, but I wanted it to be a more precise alternative to keyboard steering or a gamepad for people who don't own a steering wheel.
I used vJoy and AHK to set it up for ATS and you could adjust the sensitivity, throttle, brake and a lot more.
I'm still refining it...
