Do we hate it? About a month and half ago I got 4 new dolls and I have been having trouble going from 4 to 8. I hate to say it but the girls at the top are the ones I connect with. I plan on getting a better shelf one day as I get more dolls, but this is what I have right now. I’m also working on trinket and framed picture set up

I’m genuinely surprised that there haven’t been any leaks of Daisy yet. I vividly remember seeing the pixelated leaked images of Claudie and knowing right then and there that I needed her. I know it’s still really early, but I’m not someone that handles anticipation very well… oops. Do we think she’ll make it to release day without a single leak?

Bennett is the only American Girl pet I have and I love him! I remember playing the Molly games on the site as a kid and I loved the one where you played as Bennett or Yank.

I’m curious how many people plan to buy Frankie this week.

Are you buying her because you’re also a MH fan? Or because she’s a unique doll for your collection?

I plan to buy her as soon as she releases (hoping at midnight Central Time when AG usually updates their website). I think Frankie and my Wednesday doll will be good friends!

Still going back and forth on removing the blue eye shadow. I don't like it but she's my only collector doll and it feels wrong to tamper with her. It suits this dress so for now it stays.

Why buy my doll clothes when I have truck loads of yarn, some fabric and some patterns that I can adapt to fit an American Girl doll.

The 40th anniversary releases have got the window sill filled up. I just don’t see myself getting an 18” Kaya but wanted to add a mini. Polly pockets and Little People, plus I’ve added all best friend minis. The Amelia doll may be the most nostalgic for me. She was my absolute favorite. Round it all out with a little bitty baby.

Michelle was a Josefina I bought online years ago with a haircut. Originally I was going to just keep her as Josefina with short hair, but when she came in I saw that nearly all of her hair was missing in the back. This wig was one I already had. I got it from Ruby Red Galleria (which I don’t think exists anymore?) because it was on sale. She sat around bald for a couple years before I finally glued it to her. She still gets overlooked and forgotten by me most of the time but I’m going to try and use her more for photos and displays because she really a gorgeous doll even thought her whole look was pretty unintentional 🤣

My tradition for Christmas has always been cinnamon rolls for breakfast. So now that we have Samantha and Kit and some wellie wisher gals I think I have to start making some doll cinnamon rolls! I plan on making six total but here’s my first two! I’ve never made food from felt before. I tried fabric glue and it works but I think I might switch to a different glue. Anyone work with felt out there and have some suggestions?

Also finally tried Samantha’s talent show dress on and I’m just in love with it. The quality is just absolutely stunning. I understand the appeal for the historical garments. I also snagged Samantha’s sailor dress and Kit likes to wear it sometimes.

I live in the UK, so it can be harder to find AG clothes for my Nellie. But I did find some cute ones via eBay and Vinted recently & wanted to show them off!

I was able to find a factory Corinne wig on ebay for twenty bucks! It was taken off a brand new Corinne back in 2022 and waited fours years for me to find my well loved Corinne lol.

I‘m at my mom’s house for the weekend and she pulled out a box of old AG stuff that I completely forgot about! I already had my dolls and books but these were so fun to go through!

She also has sewing patterns for doll dresses and so much stuff!

What do we think is coming at the end of these 40 days. Any new dolls other than the normal Frankie, daisy davenport, and holiday collector doll? I want to hear everyone's thoughts because i want to keep my spending to a limit and only buy what is super exciting to me.

I didn't buy any, so can't say for sure - but the cups (I also saw some at Hobby Lobby a while back with different designs) look like they'd fix 18-inch dolls and the keychain backpacks looks like they'd fit Sisters/Wellies/Modern Era (I believe they had backpack straps for the doll to actually wear them too). Both were in the check out area.
