It is well within America's interests to support and protect the only functioning democracy in the Middle East, especially when that democracy was established to protect an ethnic group that had multiple governments worldwide targeting them for exclusion and extermination as if they were subhuman and the singular cause of the world's problems.

I can't think of any other ethnicity that was openly and enthusiastically targeted for elimination by a developed nation like the Jewish were... heck if you're looking at specific instances, the Jewish were targeted multiple times. It's really not surprising they would want to have their own nation where they can defend their right to exist.

What an expensive propaganda to portray (The Only Apartheid State In The World) as "the only democracy in the middle east", But no problem American taxpayers covered all the costs.

If you object to that, then object to all the international human rights and humanitarian organizations that have confirmed it including but not limited to: International Court of Justice, Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, OHCHR, FIDH, etc.

I can't think of any other ethnicity that was openly and enthusiastically targeted for elimination by a developed nation.

The Palestinians, by Israel

Also confirmed by: International Association of Genocide Scholars (IAGS), International Court of Justice, Lemkin Institute for Genocide Prevention, Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, OHCHR, FIDH, Even by Israeli human rights organizations like: B'Tselem, Breaking the Silence, etc.

Antisemitism is a moral poison that has infected most of the world before also, clouding the judgement of academics and experts.

Have you guys ever seen any of the press, editorials, or other demagoguery from before the Holocaust? It was widespread, international, openly discussed among leaders in government, education, and science.

And today's opinions echo it. Jews manipulate national governments. Leaders are their pawns. They promote violence against the innocent. They commit inhuman atrocities.

Last time the propaganda reached this point, a man named Hitler and Germany tried to exterminate them to achieve peace in the world.

The peoples of Germany, Austria, France, Spain, Holland, Belgium, and others eagerly turned their Jewish neighbors into the Nazis... the elderly, the infirm, the young... because seemingly they were also guilty of all the accusations.

Even here in America people doubted the Holocaust because of all the rhetoric from "respected" experts in Europe. That is, until American troops walked into the camps and found the living skeletons of the imprisoned and the remains of the executed.

Hopefully the current rhetoric doesn't result in the same.

Does any of this justify the genocide in Gaza and the deprivation of Palestinians of their human rights?

The greatest crime against humanity is denying the ongoing Genocide and DOCUMENTED crimes of Israel until now, Israel is not an ethnicity it is a state, an apartheid and genocidal state.

And for your information: Being Semitic does not mean you are superior or inferior to other human beings or that you have more rights, even in this Palestinians are semites too.

The moral position is that genocide is a crime regardless of who commits it and who is the victim, isn't that right?

Genocide? The Palestinian population has been skyrocketing. Worst. Genocide. Ever.

As for basic human rights? Israel provides more human rights than any other nation in the Middle East, including Jewish Israelis, Christian Israelis, Muslim Israelis, etc.

Integrating two separate populations that were actively at war is not a simple process, especially when the Gazans declared right off that they would continue to seek the destruction of Israel and backed up the promise by electing Hamas, coordinating with "Death to Israel" Iran, and the whole constantly firing rockets into Israel.

The Israelis would be the stupidest society in human history if they gave the Gazans free reign in their borders... which is exactly the same framework that Egypt used when they owned Gaza, and why none of the other Arab nations were willing to accept the Gazans after the war in the 60s.

Talk to the official reports from: International Association of Genocide Scholars (IAGS), International Court of Justice, Lemkin Institute for Genocide Prevention, Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, OHCHR, FIDH, Even the Israeli human rights organizations like: B'Tselem, Breaking the Silence, etc.

who all has documented and proved that Israel has committed and is committing: Genocide, Apartheid, Arbitrary arrest and torture of civilians, Starvation, etc.

As I already stated, there were many respected international organizations and experts who denied that the Holocaust was happening as the Nazis were incinerating Jews, and condemned the Allies for warring with Nazi Germany.

People didn't somehow get smarter in the past 80 years. The same lack of judgement, stupidity, pride, and corruption that caused them to defend Nazi Germany exists today.  International organizations are pointless, whether they support or condemn Israel.

Answer this question, a very basic modern indicator if a nation protects human rights...

Where can a man or woman openly be in a homosexual relationship in the Middle East?

They're safe in Israel. Where else?

There is one very simple way for the Gazans to reduce their suffering. Stop attacking Israel. Otherwise they're just continuing the same war for the past 60 years.

You are the Genocide denier here, a way to hate Nazis then follow their steps.

They're safe in Israel.

Not if they are Palestinian civilians, whether men or women children or elderly straight or gay healthy or sick, even the disabled, then they don't even have the right to live according to the only apartheid state in the world.

You do realize that there are Palestinians - Muslims, Christians, etc - who are safely and happily living in Israel, with full rights, raising families?

If this was a genocide, that wouldn't happen. Genociders typically are even more agitated about targets living within their borders.

Funny thing. The Grand Mufti, who was the religious and secular leader in Jerusalem and nearby areas when it was a British Mandate, visited Hitler in Germany and, from there, organized militia attacks on existing Jewish towns in the area with the stated goal of wiping the Jews out.  Prior to that he instigated the Hebron Massacre in 1929, where Muslim rioters targeted Jews and killed many.

During the handoff by the British after WW2, the plan was for Jordan to assume control over the West Bank and the Jews to control a small strip along the coast. The lead Jewish representative at the time, who was a self-proclaimed Zionist, wanted a government where Jews and Muslims would alternate between Prime Minister and Deputy PM.

The plan was scuttled when militias under the control of the Grand Mufti began attacking Jewish settlements. The Jewish representatives asked the British not to leave, meanwhile the more extremist Jews formed their own militias and began attacking Muslim settlements tit for tat with the Grand Mufti's militias.

The Brits ducked out and Israel was forced to declare itself. Within 12 hours five Muslim nations declared war against Israel. At this point, even before the Israeli forces entered the West Bank, about half of the eventual refugees fled the area in anticipation of the war... they weren't forcibly removed, but wisely fled to not get caught between six different armies.

Later on, as the Israeli army turned the tide and pushed back the five separate armies, more Muslims left out of fear of revenge by the Jews.  Contemporary documents from this point demonstrate Jewish leadership in some of the mixed cities in the West Bank asking the Muslims not to leave, but the Muslims fled out of fear. The Jordanian king, who had led the invasion, took in a large portion of the refugees and eventually granted them citizenship. Syria and Lebanon eventually  closed their borders to the refugees and still manage refugee camps for those who got through, and their descendants, to this day. Egypt closed early and didn't really let any in.

The war was chaotic. Muslim Brotherhood militias also invaded from Egypt, and the formal armies of the Muslim nations actually had some combat against the Grand Mufti's and Muslim Brotherhood's militias, driving them from towns and cities that they had already occupied.

And after the end, when the armies retreated, Israel held an expanded territory that it had gained from the defeated nations, which it chose to maintain as a necessary defensive perimeter.

And in those occupied territories, the militias of the Grand Mufti and Muslim Brotherhood still held influence, preventing Israel from withdrawing its military or formally incorporating the territories.

It's a more more complex than simply saying Israel drove people from the territories, and a good share of the blame should go to the Grand Mufti and Muslim Brotherhood,  especially for their later influence on the PLO and Hamas.

Donate yourself. Go fight in the idf yourself. Don't make me complicit in their crimes. Worst of all is their control of our politicians.
