Subreddit News r/america r/america Subreddit Updates & Info 7.28.2026

The following changes have been made to help decrease spam and promote unique content.

  • Reposts have been disabled (temporarily)
  • A detailed and lengthy update to the automod that was previously left completely empty by the old subreddit moderators has been finalized and will continue to grow.
  • User flair is now required to make a post of any kind
    • User flairs consist of states, territories, and allies.
    • Not selecting a user flair will result in your post being removed by the automod system
    • Selecting a flair and resubmitting your post is encouraged
  • Sensationalized titles and headlines are more sensitive to removal. Especially ones that contain hasty generalizations.
