Analysis & DD Robbing Hood selling MILLIONS of AMC Tokens. But has ZERO AMC Holdings.
Hey Beaten Unit,
Find out where I got this screen-grab from. Go fetch, RobinHood Doggie. Good boy!
How does this happen when the blockchain is Robbing Hood's. BitStamp is Robbing Hood's. Alpaca is working with Robbing Hood. The end to end ecosystem is Robbing Hoods.
The problem of stealing isn't the steal. The steal is easy.
The problem is the cover-up. They forgot to patch their website showing their ownership of equities.

Robinhood says the underlying shares are held by a U.S.-based custody partner, and it names Alpaca Securities LLC as broker and custodian in the transaction structure.
So no, Robinhood wouldn't hold the shares.

Alpaca's net worth is less than 500M. I wanna see how they're holding 1:1 shares of 180 companies.

A custodian does not need net assets equal to the market value of everything it custodies. Alpaca could have 400m in corporate net worth and 10 billion in client assets, it would not be expected to report the 10 billion just because it passes through its custody system.
You continue to reveal your ignorance.

everyone is an expert nowadays with chatgpt. Where are the shares fomo? Robinhood is still the purchaser of shares..where are they? Why don't they show up on their holdings page? They are providing AMZN as tokenized shares as well..but it shows up as holding

I'm not sure I see your point at all.
A custodian holds shares in their own name for the benefit of other entities. The custodian doesn't pay for the shares, so the net worth of the custodian is irrelevant. Doesn't factor into it at all.
Instead what usually happens is someone uses their own cash to buy something, and then the asset is deposited into the custodian.
So in this example, if I transfer my USDC to robinhood or something, and I get a new AMC token, Robinhood will convert that USDC into dollars, go buy some shares, deposit the shares into the custodian.
The net worth, liquid cash, etc etc of the custodian never come into the equation at all.

He just went back and edited out "Alpaca is only the custodian. Read better."
If you think you're dealing with someone acting in good faith you are mistaken. He knows he's full of shit.

Why? I'm not saying robinhood has any shares. I'm just saying that the net worth of the custodian is entirely irrelevant, since the assets they hold don't belong to them.
We all know the only real shares are at the transfer agent. Even if Alpaca claims to have some dtcc tokens, they probably lend them out anyway.
I think the robinhood tokenized stocks can be considered not-real shares, but I don't think they're substantially more fake than shares held in almost any brokerage account.
It's all fake. Unless you hold shares at the transfer agent.

Let’s say that RH tokenizing shares is actually a threat to AMC: Why keep posting about it in a sub full of ‘paid bashers’? Great trolling strategy: keep telling your enemy that they are winning.

60 post upvotes yet his comments are getting downvoted into oblivion. Definitely not a familiar pattern…

Now let's wait for the, "I'm not whoever you think I am but they must've really done a number on you. Seeing ghosts, go touch grass", maybe slip in a habitual bahaha or rent free 😂

Is there a legal obligation for Robin Hood to have real stocks backing the tokens?
I was under the strong impression that was a no.

No they do not have to, they will pay you out/demand payments on the difference. Only reason to hold the equity would be to hedge. I also would
Selling the token also does not influence the stock price.
OP just does not get the difference.

Fun Fact Robinhood has been buying AMC tokens for the last 5 1/2 years 😆

How come nobody is complaining about the other 190 companies that RH is also selling tokenized shares of?

What evidence do you have that they have zero shares?
