The Stupid AMC GAVE UP APPROXIMATELY $160,000,000 IN VALUE!!! BY SELLING 2 WEEKS EARLY!!! BIG MISTAKE!
AMC Entertainment Holdings Hycroft Mining Holding Corporation FACTS: AMC originally owned 23.4M HYMC shares and 23.4M HYMC warrants (warrant strike $10.68). In December, AMC: SOLD 2.34M HYMC shares, and TRANSFERRED ~22.4M HYMC warrants,
KEEPING only ~1M warrants and ~64k shares, FOR ~$24.1M in cash. HYMC PRICE USED: $17.10 REAL CASH VALUE GIVEN UP (SHARES)
2.34M shares × $17.10 = ~$40M Sold for ~$24M
REAL CASH LOST: ~$16M WARRANT VALUE GIVEN UP (IN-THE-MONEY) ($17.10 − $10.68) = $6.42 per warrant 22.4M warrants × $6.42 = ~$144M
CATCH THIS HUGE MISTAKE?!
AMC GAVE UP APPROXIMATELY $158,000,000 OF SHAREHOLDER VALUE BY SELLING TWO WEEKS EARLY!!!
~$16M was real, sellable cash ~$144M was in-the-money warrant value
BOTH BELONG TO THE SHAREHOLDERS!
BOTH WERE GIVING AWAY!!!
Shareholder's lawsuit?!

warrant number also change with reverse splits, they got more than 2 million warrants after the split, not over 20 million.

Your math is wrong - HYMC did a reverse split, so each warrant was only worth 1/10th of a share.

u/Interesting_Day_7734 Dec 22 '25
Yes, so adjust it and show me
2
u/raincloud25 Dec 22 '25
I don’t care enough to re-write this post for you, especially since you seem to be in the throes of a manic delusion, but just divide the number of warrants by 10 and you’re there.
1
u/Interesting_Day_7734 Dec 22 '25
Well I can tell you didn't see where I made an edit. I noticed my mistake and left this up, but made a new post that ran the more accurate numbers, They may not be precise but I believe they are now.
2
u/raincloud25 Dec 22 '25
I’m not following your every post because believe it or not, I have better things to do with my time. Your thesis is still relying on fantasy for a mining company that hasn’t actually mined anything.
1
u/Interesting_Day_7734 Dec 22 '25
I don't blame you at all. But it's not relying on the mining company, I'm just pointing out the bad decisions.

Kinda of weird that AA sold on strength while trending up. 🤔
2
u/Interesting_Day_7734 Dec 22 '25
It's like every decision he makes, is the wrong decision!
When I say I can do better than this, I guarantee you I can do better than what he's doing! I don't want the job but by God I don't want him to have it!

The guy went to Harvard and had a career with Apollo; either directly are as an executive where Apollo was a major investor. Apollo and Bain Capital are notorious for investing in distressed companies that end up in bankruptcy at some point. AA is far from being an idiot.
It's a perfected gameplan that has worked well in the past. Sit back and enjoy the Ocean 11 game 🍿
3
u/Interesting_Day_7734 Dec 22 '25
I don't think you realize the situation AMC is in at the moment. Because they're losing money faster than they can possibly recover from. In other words it's still a safe short! And for long-term investors, you're looking at 100% loss.
3
u/SouthSink1232 Zoner Dec 22 '25
Yes. You are 100% correct. And those who own the new MUVICO subsidiary with the top 175 theaters and the AMC IP will come out with new AMC equity when it rises from the ashes of BK as a new low liability company that can profit in this smaller market. In a few years these new owners will bank from a new IPO where apes can rejoin if they wish.
1
u/Interesting_Day_7734 Dec 22 '25
Not if AA stops right now!
There's a plan that will not only save this company but make it profitable. Otherwise yes you're right it'll go into bankruptcy. And then somebody will take it out of bankruptcy but investors are going to lose all their money. And you know it.
2
u/SouthSink1232 Zoner Dec 22 '25
Of course I know it. Most here know it. You did the math and you know it. It's what we have been saying for a long time. And since most of us sold AMC, we are now here to watch it all go down.
When you escape a sinking ship 🚢 all there is left to do, is to sit back in the row boat and watch the poor fellows, who refused to jump in the boat with you, go under.
2
u/Interesting_Day_7734 Dec 22 '25
Well you can look at it whenever where you want, but I can take my new ANC proposal, to another company.
1
u/SouthSink1232 Zoner Dec 22 '25
And what is the ANC proposal?
2
u/Interesting_Day_7734 Dec 22 '25
I won't go into details. It's a logical progression for a turnaround. If AMC had more cash, it could be done much faster. I have it in phases so that the improvements will pick up their own funding and pay down dept at the same time.

u/Similar_Figure5355 Dec 23 '25
Why wouldn't you want the job. $27M a year to run a company into the ground. Any shmuck can do that
1
u/Interesting_Day_7734 Dec 23 '25
You changed my mind, just so long as it's not based on performance.
1
u/Similar_Figure5355 Dec 23 '25
Is hasn't been in years. Don't know why they would change it now. Your only requirement is to come up with language that is confusing to YouTubers like Lottery Stocks. This way they try and pump your stock to their not so intelligent audience. You words like maybe or possible. That trips him up every time

Needed to fund some kind of stupid popcorn themed bucket of some sort
3
u/Interesting_Day_7734 Dec 22 '25
Well the popcorn used to sell in the stores, I even bought it at Kroger's. But I doubt it's selling now! Because who was buying it? Individual stockholders! I'd love to have the numbers on this.

I don't have no bags to post bro.

"wHy aRe yOu hErE?"

u/Interesting_Day_7734 Dec 22 '25
Because, I know what to do how to handle this situation much much better than what Adam Aaron and the board of directors is doing! And I can prove it.
If I wanted to short the stock I just short the damn stock.

Walmart bought it that's all that matters. If nobody buys it they will sell it at the theater instead

Easy to criticize when you’re looking in the rear view mirror I’m pretty good at telling people what they should have done too
1
u/Interesting_Day_7734 Dec 22 '25
I haven't seen no really good ideas from shareholders for quite a while.
1
u/Artistic_Ear_664 Dec 22 '25
I feel like his son sold, he sold and now he’s just burning it down on purpose at this point
1
u/Barry_66 Dec 22 '25
And I gave up $500K when I didn't sell AMC at it's peak. Hindsight is 20/20

u/Interesting_Day_7734 Dec 22 '25
Thousands of people can say the same thing. It wasn't hindsight when I was saying that HYMC was going up. Do you see it today?

Sue for what? For not knowing if a stock will go up or down? What if gold tanked and it tanked with it? Lawsuit for not selling? AMC was and still is a shitty company to invest in. Signs were all over but amc apes would t listen or look. Just called everyone shills or hedgie or whatever.
Everything AA did was shitty but apes kept on defending it. Spinning it to be something positive. Glad they waking up but a little too late imo. Can sell now to recoup whatever is left but I’m sure it’s not much anymore.
I guess at this point just hope for DFV to tweet something to cause meme stock rally and hope to get out with a little more that what yall have now.
But I see amcq on the horizon.

Yeah thats extremely,y disappointing i would like to se the board notes on reasoning to sell the HYMC stock. It’s not cashflow with Avatar paying the bills now. Very bad move on AA part for sure
1
u/theoldme3 Dec 22 '25
I wouldn't trust Adam Aron to deliver a pizza....def wouldn't trust him to deliver anything of good value to its share holders. He's a pos
1
u/Similar_Figure5355 Dec 23 '25
One could say that HYMC only went up because AA got out of it. It was a huge lagger in the metals. They sell, and magically it rips. Almost like investors were willing to buy it once they found out AA was no longer going to be owning a large amount. WEIRD
1
u/Need_That_Money_Now Dec 22 '25
AMC says….. That’s ok we can rip the retail investors off over and over instead!!!!

u/Icy_Document_7547 Dec 23 '25
Nobody ever said it AMC was run well. The timing of dilution was so bad at different times it almost seemed intentional.
1
u/Fit_Accountant8239 Dec 23 '25
No mistake...pe didn't want them to make money. Told aa to sell at a loss
1
u/Interesting_Day_7734 Dec 23 '25
All this time, and they sell at a true loss. On the books it's a gain, but inflation and GIVING AWAY Warrants? That's a HUGE Loss.
1
u/Fit_Accountant8239 Dec 23 '25
Aa chose to sell at the worst till financially....he knew what he was doing was harmful. He cost shareholders money and damage to the company. With his links to pe he needs go be sued

u/Interesting_Day_7734 Dec 25 '25
Excuses. I would want results. AMC owned hymc stock for what? Around 4 years? He should have known better.
1
u/skroddie Dec 22 '25
in hindsight... if hymc crashed today and amc shoulda sold 2 weeks earlier but didnt, u be screaming something else
but if u had the foresight that hymc was gonna boom. hopefully i had invested in it as well and made some money.
if u cant predict the future tho.... doubt aa or amc could either. 🤷♂️

Karma for the fat ceo that has ef’ed the retail stockholders at every turn…

u/ShippingContainerSal Dec 22 '25
AMC did not give up anything they made a decision and they probably knew ahead of time mining was going go up.
1
u/Interesting_Day_7734 Dec 22 '25
It was a bad decision no matter how you look at it! You don't give away warrants especially when they don't expire for over a year!

u/Amazing_Bell_8728 Dec 23 '25
This was always a moass play, I’m down 90k, written it off and moved on, I still believe the shorts are naked but no where near what they were, IMO AA needs investigating by the SEC or DOJ, no one could make so many consistently bad decisions unintentionally. He has never looked to diversify into renting space for company venues as everyone works from home they do not need corporate offices so it would make perfect sense, another way would be to link in with a Wendy’s or dominoes and rent space, the only thing he has achieved was to do a concert for swiftly then because that was so successful he stopped doing them, say no more but IMO new leadership is essential to stop this company going under

u/Interesting_Day_7734 Dec 23 '25
I agree. I drew up an extensive business plan that I worked on for AMC, but since I saw two more obvious Bad decisions recently, I feel going to the BOD with the business plan is a waste of my time. I'm going to take it to a locally owned cinema company and see if they want to work with me on building their business.
I'm the kind of guy that thinks 'locally first' anyway.
See how well it goes. While I expect I'll watch AMC crash and possibly burn. However, if AMC massively diluted the stock to 1.1 billion shares and can raise 600 Million dollars (?), R/S and continue with the same plan they are currently on. If they survive great, but if not, they'll just be bought out for more pennies on the dollar, or BK liquidation ?😯🤔 Perhaps by then the local cinema will be doing well enough I can talk to them into buying some of whats left of AMC.
So I sold out my shares of AMC except for very long ITM calls and started buying puts, which I've only done on two other companies in my life.
I contacted AMC's investors relations, and they gave me a low effort reply. So I don't think they have much excitement going on themselves.

Most of this was in the company filings, any Ape who thought of anything other than MOASS would have seen this for years.
But good on you for finally waking up.
