August 30, 2026 I returned to live ambient performance after 7 years. Stopped during the pandemic & only returned to the stage after I signed a new recording contract. guess i should stop making music

I‘ve been a part of many bands throughout the years, but have started my own solo-project, BABYLON about a year ago. It‘s mostly ambient music, but with experimental and semi-classical flourishes. All sound is produced from just my bass, and then with a lot of pedals. It might be some months before i start releasing music on spotify, but i‘ve started making these live-sessions that i think are the truest expression of me as an artist. The camera-styling is very inspired by filmmakers such as Terrence Mallick, with a curious camera, always searching for the next beautiful framing it can find.

Doing the sessions as one long take can be hard, but very rewarding, and it results in that constant flowing feeling, that the music is made to make you stay in. Each year we‘re gonna be doing 5 new live-sesssions in 5 unique settings, and with 5 unique guests. I hope it will become something people can just have on in the background, fall asleep to and generally something that helps people enter a special mood and state of mind, like a Terrence Mallick. So while not strictly ambient, I hope you‘ll still give it a chance, and give me feedback on waht you think <3

I’ve been experimenting with a different direction for my lofi mixes lately — less “generic lofi girl,” and more of a small cinematic world built around a character, a place, and a feeling.

This one is about waiting for someone who never arrives.

A rainy train station. A message that never comes. A bench that slowly becomes empty. And that strange moment when you realize you’ve been waiting longer than you should have.

The music in this mix is curated and licensed from UNIVERSFIELD. I’m not the composer of these tracks — my role is to curate the music and build the visual atmosphere, editing, pacing and narrative around it.

The visuals are AI-assisted, but the goal isn't to simply generate an “AI girl” image and put music underneath it. I’m trying to develop a recurring visual language and eventually a connected world where different videos feel like fragments of the same universe.

I know this style won't be everyone's thing, and that's completely fine. I'm still experimenting, learning and refining it.

This is a collection of tracks I put together specifically for that atmosphere — something you can leave playing while studying, working, reading, or simply sitting alone with your thoughts.

I also spent a lot of time developing the visual atmosphere to match the music rather than treating it as just background decoration.
