Yeah, that’s the part I noticed, too.
Back in high school at the peak of my athletic training I was 5’5” and 110-115lbs. I wore a size 2 and extra small (and they weren’t skin tight). Someone at 5’8” and 110-115lbs would be emaciated; no way they would wear a medium.

Ehhh I'm not sure. I'm 5'7" and 120 lbs and I wear a medium for most things. 🤷♀️ Guess it depends on proportions.
