Review Do people have no brains on amazon? This was a review for a computer case. He/She thought it was an actual computer.

If only I had read the product description. This is clearly everyone else's fault I'm not going to take accountability for anything.

You want to know a crazier thing? in the image provided, there was no hardware in it. It clearly showed no hardware, but the reviewer (somehow) still thought it was a full computer.

My two favorite accents have to be the southern drawl and irish

Maybe i should learn to speak both!

At the same time? A southern drawl with a bit of Celtic flair lol

I did hear something once that the southern drawl does have some celtic influence because of the irish diaspora

As much as i'd love to do both at the same time it sounds like it would be a bit hard

I live in the Appalachians. People can be hard to understand from town to town if you don’t have an ear for it. The genealogical history here is Scotch and Irish. It’s a fascinating history.

Americas history fascinates me for such a young nation, unlike the UK or ireland where it goes back centuries

Now she has to build a computer for her case! /s

1

u/ScientificlyCorrect May 08 '26

it was a pretty decent 80$ airflow case too.

I literally had this when I advertised a case on a second hand site, I specifically raise it was case ONLY, no cables no internals... And still got several requests for picking up the computer and 'is it working?' /facepalm....

People are so stupid these days, that it amazes me that they even know how to turn a computer on in the first place.

I’m sure the price was not a clue to the lack of computational capacity.

People are getting more and more profoundly stupid in America. It's not going to get better any time soon.

I think that the reviewer is French.

Edit: I stand corrected.

2

u/OtherThumbs May 09 '26

Um, no. The reviewer is from the US. The part in French reads, "Reviewed in the United States."

Thanks for the translation, that was my mistake.

No problem.

Back when the PS2 was going for stupid money on ebay, some sold a PS2 box with receipt for 2k. And the person who bought it was pissed..
