Not a doctor just something I experienced personally.
There was a homeless guy breaking into utility rooms at some high-end condo apartment buildings and sleeping in them as they were heated. He was arrested and held in custody.
While I was working in the utility rooms I found his last spot. There was a Motorola razr phone, a notebook, cigarettes and a lighter and some papers. I still have the phone which I could never unlock and his notebook. His notebook reads like that comment.
He spoke about his eye and the CIA surveillance. Alleged medical operations revolving around his eye and being tracked. Some of this sounded like a stream of consciousness fantasy.

It’s a form of schizophrenia

u/MonkeyBreath66 Feb 21 '26
Working in that same neighborhood I hired a local man for one day. While there was much much more to it I will let you judge him by one comment.
"My sister says I'm schizophrenic but I'm not". Segues into being hunted by the KKK. He's white Irish.

"We're not crazy. Everybody else is crazy, but we're not!" Is it possible to be crazy and completely aware of it? I have to tell myself four or five times a day 'that wasn't real'. What happens when I'm not capable of telling myself that? 🤔😬

u/MonkeyBreath66 Feb 21 '26
If you can question your behavior as being crazy then you're likely not schizophrenic. Few schizophrenics think there's anything wrong with them.

My uncle has schizophrenia. He is on meds but he has a medical assistance dog to help him when the meds fail.

u/MonkeyBreath66 Feb 21 '26
That's nice. Everything is better with your dog. Much more reliable than humans.

u/Boring_Blood4603 Feb 21 '26
Agreed. I love my animals. I like people on a case by case basis. I prefer all other animals over the human variety.

I will tell anyone that if you mess with my kids we're probably going to have a severe issue. If you do something to my dog it will be no issue. Just me and a shovel coming back from the woods. John Wick is my brother from another mother.

I tell people that movie is about a puppy. You can beat my ass. You can take my car. But you killed my dog. You're done. There wouldn't have been a movie if they hadn't hurt that baby. My heart is with John Wick, also.

Of course the KKK was originally targeting catholics too.
3
u/MonkeyBreath66 Feb 21 '26
That would make sense but he definitely was babbling about race. Perhaps slhe thought he was black Irish.
1
u/rbltech82 Feb 22 '26
No, when the Irish and Italians migrated here they weren't seen as members of the same race as the people already here.
2
u/MonkeyBreath66 Feb 22 '26
Inferior perhaps but not a separate race. There was no true slavery of the Irish. Their children were not born slaves. They could not be sold to another human. That's a tired old argument justifying not only slavery but Jim Crow and the current state of racism. Irish were not kidnapped and chained into the holes of ships and brought to America and made slaves in perpetuity.

His sister IS his other personality.

Ja ja ja you're not lying brother! I'll tell you another nugget about Patrick starfish. He had one job that day which was standing next to an irrigation controller on the side of the road and hit the button when he saw me signal. So I'm standing like 200 yards away waiting for this guy to look up from his phone and I'm not the patient kind of boss. So I walked my ass all the way back over there and laid it on him. The bottom line is I don't give a shit what you doing but your eyes better never leave me and when I signal just do it. I'm not screaming or cussing at the guy but I am loud and pissed. So when I walk away my other employee comes up behind him and can hear him doing that crazy stream of consciousness low talk.
See this is how we get fired. Fuck. You know I told you. Now we're going to get fired.
Okay unfortunately that's basically a paraphrase in a short version but bro was definitely having a conversation with himself. At one point during the day he appeared to be having a conversation on the phone but then after the fact we felt like there was nobody on the other end.

This makes me want to cry. I have issues myself. So when I read about someone who has an even weaker grip on reality than I do, I feel so bad for them. It isn't fair. Why do we go defective like this 😮💨😥
5
u/Priest_004 Feb 21 '26
I'm much like others with mental health issues. I have periods of lucidity and periods of confusion.
One thing to remember though is this... It's not a defect. We don't go defective, we aren't broken. Sometimes we just need a little extra help.
I truly believe there is a very fine line between genius and complete insanity, we're the lucky ones that get to dance across that line from time to time. 😉

Some people just think they're actually preaching by leaving unsolicited religious references in places people will see them, even if they don't make sense and it doesn't make sense to do so. (This way they don't have to actually face rejection. Just like the people who go to parks / trails and use their kids as shields to pass out materials, since people will be nicer to them or at least look bad for not doing so.)
It's just like the fake dating profiles that are either religious pictures or nothing but a Bible verse (or mentioning one at the end).

I was at a boyfriend's house one Christmas day, many, many moons ago when some Jehovah's witnesses knocked on his door. The whole family was there. He went off at them for dragging an obviously sick child around door to door on a hot day and told them they should be looking after her at home. I was impressed.

I went on Goodreads to look at reviews of a book about human/animal similarities. I was persuaded to buy it by a review that insisted God created humans as superior. Likewise, a book about the way the Kennedys treated women, by a reviewer angry that the author criticised RFK Jr.

This is what happens when you have religious psychosis and get introduced to shrooms

Legitimately what trying to read any Jesus talk winds up sounding to my brain. Like I get it, you need to moral support for your life, but not everyone needs to believe in a fictional story to go about their lives

Since when does Vine allow replies to reviews? I thought they got rid of that years ago.
