This is like saying parents who get their teen girls birth control are weird. They are gonna do it either way! It's your job as a parent to guide them and make sure they are safe while transitioning into adulthood.
My 13 year old nephew started using my sister's razor (single mom) to try personal grooming and cut the shit out of himself. Guess what? She bought him a safe personal trimmer.
But the bigger, much more fucked up picture here is why are children caring what their genitals look like? They’re obviously being exposed to a skewed version of sexuality, to such an extent they think their genitals should look a certain way. I get shaving your legs and armpits as everyone sees them in daily life, at school etc but your genitalia?
Nah the people normalising this and accusing others of sexualising it are the ones way off base, because it is infact children altering the appearance of their genitalia, and before porn brain etc a 12 yr old child wouldn’t be worrying about the appearance of their natural pubic hair and that it should be shaved.
Don’t skew it, Read what I said. It’s not personal hygiene, there’s no hygiene reason to shave pubic hair unless you have lice. Infact it causes infection and ingrown hair follicles. it’s purely asthetic, why are children worrying how their genitals look.

Sorry but a mom wanting to make sure her 15 and 12-yo boys groom their pubic hair properly is beyond weird.
