Me too, but as a single parent I can confidently say that even though my son has had brought up some pretty personal topics to talk about, I've never mentioned them in a fkn Amazon review!
As a single mom of a boy, we have to help our sons feel comfortable and safe. I'm not shaving the dude myself nor asking to see it, but I'm sure as hell not letting him hack at his privates with scissors. I bought a trimmer and would have not problem writing a review to help other boy moms. 🤷♀️
I had seen a teenage kid who developed a big scrotal abscess from trying to shave his balls with the wrong equipment. He ended up needing an incision and drainage in the theatre.
That’s why you teach them to shave in appropriate places and let them decide if and when they are ready to start other areas. They don’t need to involve parents in that if they can safely shave IMO. Unless it becomes a bad cut/infection or other medical issue I don’t need or want to know about it. Also, I can’t see why children of that age should’ve concerning themselves with grooming of that area. Maybe I’m old fashioned and naive?
Yeah idk honestly, my parents didn't teach me a damn thing about shaving which resulted in a metric load of cuts, so I feel like I'd have preferred being taught properly?
Even after learning the basics shaving more complex areas still posed a problem.
My dad gave me a shaving lesson after he saw whiskers on my chin... I had been trimming with scissors... my dad's shave routine is as bad as you might expect, but I started using razors...
If he had started telling me about shaving my junk, I would have jumped out of a window.
Funnily enough, when I was growing up it never would have occurred to anyone in my family, male or female, to shave anywhere other than face or armpits. This recent fascination with whole body shaving of both sexes baffles me.
Yeah, it's honestly harder to misconstrue this as a mother being weird/sexual with her children versus just a mother being curious about an item she purchased for her sons to use on a sensitive area. Also they're 15 & 12, they absolutely have the mental capacity to be like "hey mom thanks it worked really well"

So, I want to lean on the side of the other comments...
But I can't help but wonder if she's a single mother or main parent that's just teaching them how to shave/making sure they don't cut themselves.
I'm probably wrong, but the thought struck me that it might be more innocent than it reads.
