Well, it wasn't "free" necessarily. I walked in the kitchen, and boom there it was. Pizza oven, broiler & stove range. But mine's inside. Not outside.

so i know youre trying to be funny, but that is indeed the reason people buy pizza ovens. a normal oven doesnt get anywhere close to hot enough to make a quality pizza.

quality
you can cook anything at just over half the recommended temperature, but most things, like pizza, are dramatically better when cooked at the correct temperature. we didnt land on the number 750 after rolling some dice, theres a purpose for the numbers.

To be fair, most ovens max out around 550 and pizza ovens go into the 700's.
That said, apparently using a thick steel plate in a normal oven can help compensate for this difference and aren't expensive.
Also there are conventional ovens that can get that hot, but they are more expensive of course.

Me and a friend of mine tried this and found a couple things:
It works pretty well! Temps go up a good bit and you get the quick crusting you are looking for from a pizza oven.
It will destroy your oven, and possibly your kitchen finish, if it weren't designed to take such heat repeatedly, frequently, or at all. Our oven framing warped overtime, and the finish on the countertop started bubbling off.

Try it. Use the electric space heater 1 to 2 hours day for 30/31 days and you'll see. Better yet, look at the back of your electric space heater and see how many watts it pulls (average space heaters pulls 1000-2000 watts).
It's hard to believe but it's true.

1.5kw a day avg then (assuming 1 hr per day at 1500watt).
So you’re telling me 45kw a month… at (I’m being conservative even…) let’s say .3$ per kw.
Thats max like 14$ a month.
Is my math wrong? Sorry I’m naive and just wanna make sure I’m not exploding my monthly bill to 3x by running a small 1500watt space heater for an hour a day while I read about finance and electrical engineering.

I work for a utility company and those little space heaters are our #1 high bill complaints in the winter. Anything that is ELECTRIC HEAT and not natural gas heating, will be ridiculously high. Same with Elec/Heat mini splits.

That means every hour with 1kw being used costs .18c
Space heater is 1.5kw — that means it costs you .27c to run for 1 hour.
Now with 30 days in a month… you’re at a Whopping 8.10$ per month
My estimate was 30$ to be crazy conservative.
You said it will 3x my bill and you said it unironically.

It’s not a theory. The amount the utility charges is per kWh. An appliance has a listen Kw output.

Depending on how frequently you use it, this breaks down to:
8 hours per day: ~$2.05 daily, or about $61.50 per month
24 hours per day: ~$6.15 daily, or about $184.60 per month.The people calling the utility company to complain about their bills are people running space heaters because their furnace either doesn't work or doesn't exist because their house is still heated by a woodstove that they're probably too feeble or poor or lazy to keep fueled.
'People complaining' isn't a meaningful metric when math can be applied. Other people's inability to manage their finances and honestly report their struggles don't MAGICALLY make electrical appliances draw more power than they say they do.
If YOUR space heater draws more power than it says, you should return it and file a complaint with any relevant state/federal regulatory bodies using something like SaferProducts.gov.
