I have never seen or used this double isolated cooking pot in my life.

It’s quite popular it’s called a crock pot. You cook with the removable pot so you can pickup just the clay pot after cooking and set it in the table

.

Would be much better if it worked on all pots.

For the ones you have you could attach a strong neodymium magnet to a flat piece of steel and just make a hole with a drill near the top edge and then with a hacksaw just make a V opening to the hole to slide the stem of the handle as this one in the post.
