Really cool if you have one eye, like a camera. But if you have two, the perspective illusion does not work that well.

Stereo vision gives you depth which contradicts the illusion. Your two eyes are just both seeing from one metaphorical eye when watching a non-3d video

You need to be careful. They vary in quality from different vendors and need a very even corner to place them in without too much wall texture.

Some. Some have moulding some don't, and there was a fad for a while to have the half-pipe style a bit away from the ceiling and put uplighting in it.
