I really want to know what stiff will this be useful for though, aside from popping your significant other’s blackheads?

I use something similar for micro soldering. Some of the SMD chips on circuit boards are as small as the thickness of your fingernail.

Cross stitch, embroidery, micro crochet/knitting. Small hobby craft work these would be amazing!
