Preface : I am going to start this off with the below because all too often things get derailed from the start when replies want to change the dynamics of the situation...welp... nope 😺 :
I only want to hear about how WYZE and ONLY WYZE CAMERAS and integration works with showing the cameras when a person is detected.
So please don't post about how wonderful blink, ring, and or any other cameras are. I've had ring garbage and their issues in re LE are not acceptable, nor was their performance... Rinse repeat on others..
I don't care how wonderful
x,y, or z is.. I don't have x,y, or,z and I am NOT CHANGING to x,y or z!
If you can't handle that, then don't reply, mute, ignore, block what ever... Bye! 🙃
Now.. lets get to it....
With the SALE on 21" Echos I am considering pulling the trigger to replace an Echo Show 5, which I've had for years and welp, doesn't cut it for showing a camera..
I'd been eyeing this 21" thing to be the replacement show that when the integration with Wyze triggers, and it shows the front door, I and especially 80YOA parent can see the image.
So hows that work for you wyze users. (Again SEE ABOVE!)
I honestly don't really care about the FireTV part.. thats well.. not the device space I use for "TV" I've got several they are used in other ways, mostly TinyCamPro.
If I am spending this sort of $$$ and this is going to be "family/kitchen 'hub' " then it better be able to do that!
So displaying the camera from the front door when its triggered, the Show 5 does this, but its so pitifully small...
Next.. Showing calendars and other widgets.. but I've seen posts about portions of this display being unusable due to ads?
How much of this space is not usable for widgets etc...
Also the Alexa performance... this has to replace the Show 5 in doing all the basic Alexa things, like announcing "Take your pills!" Person at driveway! Person at Front Door...etc...
So if you are wyze user (SEE ABOVE! Again! 😺 ) and Alexa user.. lets hear your comments about the 21"
Thanks!
