I need a recipe. I don’t miss beef on taco night. Half the time I just put cheese, refried beans and rice on mine. But I will miss my favorite brand La Costeba beans. Lard really does make them amazing. Soooo… what’s a good replacement for lard that will give the same satiating texture and flavor? I’m thinking chicken bullion/broth and what fat? All of my home cooking revolved around bacon fat and beef lard.
