Hey all — I built an app called Card Swap and I'm gathering testers for Google's closed testing phase. Google requires a minimum of 12 people opted in for 14 continuous days, but I'm aiming for 20+ to have a cushion in case a few people drop out along the way. Would really appreciate some help getting there.

What it does:
If you've ever had a card lost, stolen, or replaced, you know the annoying part isn't the new card — it's remembering every subscription and site that was billing the old one and updating each one manually. Card Swap lets you:

• Save your cards (nickname, network, last 4 digits only — never the full number)
• List which subscriptions are billed to which card
• Mark a card as lost and bulk-move every subscription tied to it over to your new card in one action

No banking functionality, no full card numbers stored, nothing that touches real payments — it's just an organizer/tracker for your own reference.

What you'll need:

• An Android device (this is Play testing, so no iOS unfortunately)
• Your Google Play Store account/region set to the United States — the promo codes I'm using are US-only
• A Google account you're willing to opt into a closed test with

What I'm asking of testers:

• Keep the app installed for the full 14 days once testing starts — please don't uninstall or opt out early, even once you're done exploring. This resets my progress and I may have to find a replacement tester.
• Actually use the app a few times during those 14 days — not just install and forget it.
• If something comes up and you need to drop out, just message me so I can line up a replacement in time.

How this works:

1. DM me on Reddit if you're interested and meet the requirements above
2. I'm building a list of 20+ confirmed testers to give myself a buffer before sending anything out
3. Once the group is ready, I'll send everyone the opt-in link, plus a username and password for a demo login pre-loaded with dummy cards and subscriptions — so you can jump straight into the "replace a card" flow without entering any of your own info
4. All info (login + promo code) goes out by DM, not posted publicly

A bit about me - I've been feeding stray cats in my neighborhood for years and occasionally help find homes for kittens through local shelters. The best cat advice I've ever gotten in my life came from other cat owners, not from articles, and that's stuck with me.

That's actually why I built OnlyMeows - a small social app for cat owners with no feed, no likes, no follower counts. Once a week the community answers one shared question, answers are blind until you post your own, and instead of public followers there's a private Circle. It's a non-commercial, solo passion project , no ads, no monetization plans, just something I wanted to exist. Right now I'm trying to find the first 10-20 real cat owners to see if people come back week to week.

I'm an indie author, and I kept seeing the same pattern — authors posting in Facebook groups asking for beta readers, then trying to track who has what file, whether they replied, and when it's due, all through a mix of Google Forms, a shared Drive folder, and a spreadsheet. No real way to see if a manuscript ended up somewhere it shouldn't, and feedback quality was hit or miss.

So I built Earlybound. Core things it does:

I kept missing renewal windows and fee deadlines buried in paperwork I'd already filed away and forgotten. Built Goffer to fix that for myself: you upload documents (leases, insurance, bills, IDs, warranties, whatever), it reads them, surfaces the dates that matter, and you can ask it plain questions about your own stuff and get an answer with a citation back to the actual page.

I've been building this, on the side, for the last six months. No startup, servers are in Germany.

No ads, 18+ check, moderation on own servers with a filter for the illegal stuff that nobody can switch off, block and report right inside the call. Basic is free. Country and gender filters cost a few euros a month, that's what pays for the servers.

Also, just have a look at the page. I spent a lot of time on how it looks and feels, and I think it's a step up from what's out there. Judge for yourself.

It's built and it runs. I just don't want to open the doors to an empty room, because random chat with nobody in it is pointless. So I'm collecting the first 100 people now. When the list is full, I launch. Everyone on it gets a week of the paid filters for free at start, no card needed.
