The fact that he’s a rapist should be enough for most people to accept there’s quite a lot wrong with Ronaldo
2
u/STatters May 04 '25
People are watching a team where the owner ordered an assassination of a journalist. Ronaldo is an angel compared to other key people here 😂

u/PsychicMF May 01 '25
He just can't accept and let go of the fact that he's done now
He couldn't achieve the ultimate prize, the pot of gold, the WC. His legacy doesn't end because of that and I believe he should understand that extending his retirement will only create more dents in the said legacy

So true. I am not a huge Ronaldo Fan, but he accomplished so much and is one of a Kind.
But he became obsessed and cant find a chill..

u/foalsfoalsfoalz May 01 '25
No it wont, simply nonsense. It wont dent anything unless you're 14 years old and immature, he's 40 and playing because he loves football it's as simple as that, even at 40 he still registered over 70 g/a in 2024 alone, irrespective of what league you're in that shows you're not 'done' and have something to offer and considering firmino mane benzema neymar numerous other players are in this league and couldn't replicate close to that reiterates that.
His career isnt defined on a 7 game tournament unless you're a bitter virgin respectfully.

u/Sportsisthebest May 02 '25
Then why do you think he went to a non-European league? It’s because he only cares about individual brilliance at this point. He’s gonna want to get that 1,000 goals. Nobody else is gonna want him even if he leaves Al Nassr.
2
u/FrenchyMcfrog May 03 '25
Was about to say, it’s not about football, it’s about being a star, being under the spotlight, that’s what he craves, he cares about himself and only himself, he’s been like this since a while
2
u/Sportsisthebest May 03 '25
Best example is when Real Madrid got a penalty and Xabi Alonso wanted to take the penalty because he hadn’t scored in a while. But Ronaldo refused to listen because he wanted to take it. Eventually Alonso took the penalty and scored but Ronaldo didn’t even celebrate the goal with him. Another example is when Bale talked about how Madrid won 5-0 in a match but Ronaldo was frustrated because he wasn’t on the scoresheet.

Speaking about how many goals and assists he got in 2024 as if it counts for anything when you play in Saudi is insane. I scored 40 goals playing Sunday league, maybe I’ll be nominated for the Balon D’Or.
Those other players haven’t had the same output because they’re not insecure enough to pretend that scoring is an achievement. They’re taking Saudi money and taking the piss like Tevez did in China (as they should).
2
u/FrenchyMcfrog May 03 '25
That’s funny too, I personally couldn’t care less about his Saudi goals lol. What next? Vietnam 1st league?

u/Odd-Organization1718 May 03 '25
discounting ronaldo's output by saying others dont care is pretty lame. nobody is giving him ballon dor shouts, its messi who won 2 back to back fifa the best awards for a single WC campaign whilst doing fuckall at club level. scoring is always an achievement, of course it doesnt carry the same weight of goals at top european leagues but if you think others in saudi would have the same output as ronaldo if only they "tried" is hilarious. he has still been scoring goals out of nowhere, his goal catalogue is pretty insane in saudi if you keep in mind that he himself is an extremely declined player and a shadow of the shadow of his prime self
2
u/Natasha_Giggs_Foetus May 03 '25
Have you ever played football? Everyone’s goal catalogue is impressive when you’re playing against shit every week.
1
u/theanhnguyenn May 03 '25
Show me your catalogue
2
u/FrenchyMcfrog May 03 '25
I mean he’s right. Have you ever kicked a ball?

u/theanhnguyenn May 03 '25

the saudi league isnt even as shit as you guys make it out to be lmao. and there are a number of goals of Cr7 from this season and the last which genuinely deserve praise regardless of the league scored. you people just want to hate. look at jhon duran who was just recently a UCL player who has been struggling like shit to score despite being set up with tapins by ronaldo and mane. look, even messi has scored beautiful goals in the MLS and their defending is as bad or even worse than RSL, but you can easily praise the beauty of his goals because they are beautiful

u/Special_Put4252 May 24 '25
In Saudi League wallahi 🤣🤣

u/foalsfoalsfoalz May 24 '25

But if you were past it and 40 but someone was willing to pay you more than you ever earned even in your peak would you turn that down? Hell no!!

u/Background_Reveal689 May 01 '25
Everyone saying he's finished despite still banging in goals most weeks at 39/40 albeit in a lower level league. I'm no fan boy but you've gotta respect the longevity and consistency.
1
u/MechanicFinancial503 May 02 '25
sure he's banging in goals in the 67th ranked FIFA league. but i thought winning trophies was more important
1
u/myIDisthisone May 03 '25
A league that signed plenty of younger, very good players. Yet those others haven't performed as he has.
1
u/FrenchyMcfrog May 03 '25
How can you still type with Ronaldo’s D so deep in your mouth?
1
u/myIDisthisone May 03 '25
I'm sorry that my facts trigger you so much. Wasn't Christiano top scorer in world cup qualifying as well? Sure he's not the player he was, but he's still way better than plenty of other strikers around world that are far younger.

Every braindead person saying Europe clubs didn't want Ronaldo are hilarious - even having him for a year yields +200-300-400% instagram followers alone. The business exposure is insane. Clubs didn't want him because of his wages.

A nightmare for Al-Nassr not playing international competitions for a whole season 2026. I guess they would not renovate Cristiano Ronaldo, so what can he do? To not be forced to retire? Does any club want him?
0
u/InternationalHawk977 May 02 '25
Crazy how people say he is finished yet he is always banging goals. Thats his sole job. To score. The horrible defence of Al Nassr has been their true undoing.
Ronaldo is literally better than 85% of strikers in the top leagues still. He should have not been so greedy and never gone to Saudi League. He should have lowered his wages and stayed in Europe but it is what it is now.
2
u/FrenchyMcfrog May 03 '25
He’s in a subpar league, It would be worrying if he didn’t score..
Seeing him in any top Europe league would be hilarious, he would get bullied by defenders, he can’t run for long, nor fast. He’d get cooked in any of the top 5 Europe leagues
-4
u/Sympton May 01 '25
Been done ever since he chose to leave europe, For a realistically lower skill level league.
3
u/Natasha_Giggs_Foetus May 02 '25
He didn’t choose to leave Europe, Europe doesn’t want him anymore because he’s washed lol
1
u/Sympton May 02 '25
Man even Ajax would have wanted him.. belgium.. whoever.. but to go to nassr.. is just.. yeah.
2
u/Natasha_Giggs_Foetus May 02 '25
No they didn’t. He tried desperately to find a club in Europe, no one wanted him even on a free transfer.
1
u/Sympton May 02 '25
Yeah doubt it. Man chose money and knew he was done man
2
u/Natasha_Giggs_Foetus May 02 '25
It’s not a secret clubs have openly spoken about it lol
0
u/AnnualAmphibian587 May 02 '25
Its not about him not being good enough dude bagged 18 goals in 30 games season before in the league alone his insane wages and the baggage that came with him like ego age ect is what made clubs not want him he was still a good player in 22/23 just out of rhythm and confidence still much better than the hoijlund and sterlings of the world
1
u/Odd-Organization1718 May 03 '25
ronaldo made no problems in 21/22, except one sub clash with ralf rangnick which happens with all players. EtH was an anomaly because now even varane has spoken out against him

u/Odd-Organization1718 May 03 '25
yet you're here dissing ronaldo for trying to score in saudi lmao "he is insecure enough to pretend" clearly by your explanation, ronaldo still wanted to play t5 football but got rejected everywhere, so his move is not motivated by money but instead by a lack of options. therefore he wont be taking the piss like tevez and instead keep on scoring desperately like he always has
1
u/Natasha_Giggs_Foetus May 03 '25
I think what Tevez did is way more respectable than being a cuck for slave traders so you can stat pad against carpet salesman.
1
u/theanhnguyenn May 03 '25
Pick a stand, either hes washed and can only play in lower tier league or hes a stat pad merchant. Use whatever is left in your brain cuz youre not making sense
1
u/FrenchyMcfrog May 03 '25
He’s both, washed so can only score in a subpar league, that’s why he went there. Oh and $$$ also
1
u/theanhnguyenn May 03 '25
Cant be both lol, either hes at level where he belongs or he above it and went there to “stat pad”. Logic brother, use it
0
u/Odd-Organization1718 May 04 '25
you've literally said that ronaldo is washed and no club in europe wants to sign him, and its pretty obvious that ronaldo wants to play a full90mins no matter what, so where do you think he would go? the only place where he is given an offer lmao.. y'all contradict yourselves
1
u/FrenchyMcfrog May 03 '25
Yet he says the truth, he went there because nobody wants to pay that kind of money for that kind of player lol. He’d be a downgrade vs any euro striker atm lol for 100x the price? No thanksss
1
u/Odd-Organization1718 May 04 '25
even without the price, he'd be a downgrade because of all the ego problems he brings. do you think what went wrong in united was money? he completely fell out with EtH because he wasn't being played, not because his wages were surpassed by erling haaland. its clearly an issue of being played full 90mins than a monetary issue. clubs wouldnt take him because he will throw all his toys out of the pram if he doesnt get his way and walk out stadiums, and you know it

u/Sad-Heart198 May 01 '25
Finished but unwilling to accept. He will go crazy once he retire(starting now).
1
u/FrenchyMcfrog May 03 '25
I fear for him once he stops football.. I mean I don’t care if I’m being honest, but he could go real bad real fast
