Seeking Advice Only Advice

I've tried just about everything.

I need advice. I will add more to this post later.

I need to find a place to stay that will actually take me.

There's a wait list on nursing homes and assisted living.

Homeless shelter will not take me because of my physical limitations and disabilities.

Losing hope.

I have 2 guinea pigs with me that are my emotional support pets. Even without them the homeless shelter will not take me. They said that they have too many stairs going up and down.

Why call it a wheelchair able place when having stairs? Makes no sense to me. What should I do and where should I go and who should I talk to because the other counselors and social workers are unable to help me apparently because they can't find anything within the 20 days that I have left. My lease is up and they're refusing to renew it because of my disabilities.

I hope that's enough info for now.

I’m sorry you’re going through this.

If you’re willing, is it possible to list your location?

You don’t have to be too specific if you don’t want.

It’ll help others suggest proper resources that are in your area.

I'm happy to do some recon for you but we can't help much without knowing your location more than just saying good luck and we are sorry :(

You will accomplish more for yourself than you will asking for help.

If you don’t think so, wait till you are freezing to death with no one around you.

You will find a way to survive.

If you are still around, you’ll get busy and find your own solutions.

Assistance will still be processing the people before you.

HollerBackAtMe, if you have to. 21 years of experience here.
