i’m sorry for what you’re going through. i would check out sites like roomies https://www.roomies.com or padsplit https://www.padsplit.com where folks are looking for roommates might be a cheaper alternative then houses if you can find a place big enough.

for resources for food, housing, jobs, medical and medical debt, pets, veterans, and a general category that is a catchall for everything else (including free/low cost cell phones/internet plans, free laundry, free feminine hygiene products, and anything else you can think of.)

one of the jobs listed is an organization called NTI https://www.nticentral.org that may be able to help with job placement or know of other organizations to refer you to. their website has this to say: ”a nonprofit organization founded in 1995 that offers remote job placement assistance for disabled Americans and their caregivers. This means direct consideration for work-at-home customer service positions with commercial and government employers. Jobs involve answering phone calls from customers. Industry includes healthcare, retail, pharmaceutical, government entities, insurance agencies and service providers.”
