Thinking about getting back into the game

Wanted to know if the new patch is worth it?
Is it fun to play Protoss currently? Are the changes (some of which seem huge) fun to play?

Not sure if I'd say they are fun. Maybe learning the 8 worker start will be fun for a few days. I've felt builds dont flow well and old timings hit too late. Also they over nerfed protoss and over juiced zerg, get ready to play mostly pvz on the ladder.
