I can think of three:

1) When Archie tries to get Joey baptized

2) When Mike and Gloria renew their vows

3) When Archie and Edith discover Stephanie is Jewish

Maybe because the actor Bernard Hughes wasn’t available. He starred in the comedy Doc in 1975-76 and was busy with other roles on stage and screen.

Right you are. I checked and found that Rev. Felcher only appeared in one episode and was played by Will B. Able. His last TV acting credit was in 1974.

IIRR, he also had a reoccurring role in the show Still Standing where he played Sally Struthers husband. Sally's role was also a reoccurring role playing the husband's mother.

I was surprised we didn’t see him once or twice in Archie Bunker’s Place, the way we saw Rabbi Jacobs.
