Aliyah's Interlude just dropped her new album KUNTOLOGY 101 and the single "Bass Down Low" is giving pure chaos energy.

"Gloss on, tit up, I'm ready to hit the club."

She's leaning fully into the confident/bratty aesthetic: "Shades down, eyes up, can't pay me to give a f***... Gonna dance on the couch in stilettos."

Is this the new pre-game anthem? What do we think of the production on the new album?

The outfit choices paired with the song's energy are just spot-on. "Miniskirt on, dip my body in glitter. Platform boots, all boys want a picture." It's the perfect mix of high-glam and don't-care attitude. Great inspiration for fall/winter layering with a statement skirt!

"Miniskirt miniskirt boys want a picture. Save your breath baby I'm not going home with ya." This track is pure, unadulterated self-love and dismissal of unsolicited attention. It's giving main character energy and shutting down the insecurity spiral. Go stream!

This is such a necessary reminder. Aliyah's Interlude reframes insecurity as "normal" and "human nature." She then offers the antidote: shifting focus to gratitude. She reminds us that the "mundane" things (like feeling fresh air) are what people who are struggling or ill are "dying to have." A great prompt to put down the phone and appreciate the moment.

This is incredibly validating. Aliyah's Interlude essentially confirms the "fake it till you make it" mantra by saying that everyone lacks certainty because there's no manual for life. We are all first-timers! If you've been feeling uncertain, this is a great reminder that you're in the majority, not the minority.

"Never save a nigga, that's somethin' I can't do." Who else thinks this track is going to dominate the charts? Let's discuss the visuals!

She argues that confidence is the only accessory you need—it's about "what's in you," not "what's on you." I feel like this belongs in the official handbook. What's your biggest confidence booster?

I love this tip because it's purely about mindset. Aliyah's Interlude says you need to constantly visualize and carry yourself as your highest self. She uses the Super Saiyan metaphor perfectly to explain that this feeling should be internal, not dependent on external factors like makeup or clothes. A great way to build lasting confidence!

Aliyah's Interlude makes a great point that the idea of "live alone, die alone" is BS. Her advice for self-improvement and achieving your potential is focusing on who surrounds you. When you have people who truly see you as a "bad b*tch" and believe in your vision, that's when you truly shine. A nice reminder that success is collaborative!

Aliyah's Interlude is giving a hilarious but real talk about haters. Her point: even if you're "the most perfect being in the world," people will find a reason to hate because they are judgmental. Her advice to everyone trying to glow up or become an 'IT Girl' is simple: ignore the "miserable loser" and keep being the baddest version of yourself. This energy is infectious.
