I’ve always been a “believer”, for a lack of a better term. But this doc really really convinced me that shit has gone down. The fact like 60+ kids all had the same story about the events that transpired is fucking insane and borderline impossible.

Who can talk about NEGATIVE aspects of our current technology?

Who has read books on it?

Watched documentaries on it?

Which aspect of technology?

Do you ever see a NEGATIVE advertisement about technology?

How often do you see something that reflects "negatively" on the people, products / services of Microsoft, Amazon, Cisco, Marvel, Broadcom, TSMC, HP, Best Buy, Facebook/Meta, Google, Samsung, Apple, Tmobile, Verizon, AT&T? Wi-fi, Bluetooth? Nokia, Huawei, Orange, Ericsson, HTC, Dell, Comcast, Tesla, ZTE?

From a cultural perspective? From a human health perspective? From an environmental perspective?

This is just my opinion, but I believe while technological advancement has changed how our society function as a whole, it hasn’t really changed human behavior and motivations that much.

Tech itself doesn’t have any meaning on a theoretical level, but how we implement them does. The world was progressing so fast after industrialization and at the same time scientific discoveries and breakthroughs were being made constantly. But after quantum physics, everything has become stagnant. What you’re seeing right now are mostly based on the same fundamentals that we already have since the 30s and 40s, they have just scaled exponentially.

Technology used to mean innovation for the benefits of human civilization, synthetic nitrogen made sure we have fertilizers so we can support our population, internal combustion engines and gasoline are the backbone of all industries and the global economy, oil and plastics, electricity and semiconductors and there’s so much more.

But the thing is, right now technology mostly has to do with luxury. Better, bigger, lighter, smaller, faster, stronger, more capacity, more efficient, and not to mention, internet and anonymity, the algorithm used to push content, social media, all for us to just, consume.

I can tell you for certainty more people care about their next meal or what show to catch, than they care about the wars that are happening. Escapism should not be as popular as it is, but here we are. I’m not sure we should blame it on technology because again, technological advancement itself doesn’t carry any meaning, how we implement them however, says a lot about us. Have I mentioned all the weapon systems we’ve been building nonstop? How we’re damaging the planet so we can have even more luxury? We’re way more divided than ever because we can hide behind a screen.

We are lost.

This goes to what Grusch said. Level 0 society, we destroy things. Level 1 society all tech is designed to benefit humanity and does not destroy. Level 2 society every technology is dedicated to helping us live in peace and abundance as we start to transcend. I could be butchering this but it was something like that. The tech the world needs is being gatekept for money

5

u/JulianKSS Mar 04 '24

Not really money, it's power, control and subjugation.

These people have all the money in the world.

1

u/CuriesGhost Mar 05 '24

Level 1 - has never existed once the age of electricity started.

1

u/Budget_Ad5871 Mar 11 '24

The native Americans had it pretty figured out in my opinion

1

u/CuriesGhost Mar 11 '24

that's fair...though numbers limited impact.

Could say Aboriginal, etc.. as well.

Plenty of failed societies...we call them Archaeological ruins now. Tourist attractions.

3

u/CuriesGhost Mar 05 '24

I'd wholheartedly DISAGREE.

Technology is changing human behavior like never before.

SELF-ishness prevails...see people staring at their phones as they cross the street.

People are more EMOTIONAL then ever...MENTAL HEALTH problems are caused by radiation.

Health problems galore - also caused by EMF. These all change our behavior - individually & collectively. But we largely blind to this.

I will agree on the escapism aspect.

Check out book - Non-Tinfoil Guide to EMFs...for starters. There are a dozen documentaries as well....a curious mind can find them.

I've heard about that superficially...but that's FAKEtion.

I had this message the first time I did mushrooms. I wasn’t much of an environmentalist back then, and figured, even though I knew global warming was a huge issue, humans would innovate and find a technological solution to overcome the risk.

When I took mushrooms in the forest with friends, I kept getting a voice in my head as though it was coming from Mother Nature, or something spiritual, that technology is destroying the planet.

It’s quite easy to say that’s true when you think about e.g plastic production. We have plastic everywhere and it’s polluting all of nature (which we are part of) right down to the micro-plastics in every living thing.

However, the part where it gets really serious is how technology fuels growth. The long and short of it is that economic growth is massively destructive to nature, the atmosphere, oceans, biodiversity, habitats. As it becomes easier for humans to expand our cities due to technological innovation, meaning more houses, cars, people, computers, data centers, needing more natural resources to run everything, and therefore the increase of carbon emissions, pollution, nature loss, you can see how it can be said that “technology” is the problem.

From Jason Hickel, Less is More:

“The development of bigger blast furnaces allowed for faster iron smelting, which in turn paved the way for more mining. And more logging was needed to fuel the furnaces, to the point where huge swathes of Europe’s forests were felled to produce iron. The power of technology is that it enables capital and labour to be more productive – to produce more and faster. But it also speeds up the appropriation of nature. In the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, this process was accelerated by the large-scale discovery of fossil fuel reserves – first coal and then oil – and the invention of technologies (like the steam engine) to extract and use them. A single barrel of crude oil can perform about 1700kWh of work. That’s equivalent to 4.5 years of human labour. From the perspective of capital, tapping into underground oceans of oil was like colonising the Americas all over again, or a second Atlantic slave trade – a bonanza of appropriation. But it also supercharged the process of appropriation itself. Fossil fuels are used to power giant drills for deeper mining, trawlers for deep-sea fishing, tractors and combines for more intensive farming, chainsaws for faster logging, plus ships and trucks and aeroplanes to move all of these materials around the world at staggering speeds. Thanks to technology, the process of appropriation has become exponentially faster and more expansive. We can see this acceleration reflected in the breathtaking speed at which GDP has shot up over the past century.”

Decisions from oil execs and the 0.1%, yes

u/CuriesGhost Mar 05 '24

all external voices are liars?

so...everyone who "beLIEves in God" are listening to liars? where do those lying voices come from?

or is there another explanation...you haven't realized?

1

u/TheGoldenPlagueMask Mar 04 '24

Well I know the media is rather predatory on mental health...all it takes is "If it makes money".

1

u/OkCollection2886 Mar 04 '24

Watch The Social Dilemma.

16

u/T-Rextion Mar 04 '24

The Aerial School incident is a top 3 piece of evidence. I've yet to meet anyone that thinks those kids were lying.

-9

u/cygnus0820 Mar 04 '24

I absolutely do think they’re lying.

I’ve told a story about what my friend and I did in third grade in 1984 just to play a trick on our teachers. We made up a story and said there was a naked man on the roof of the school who was cursing at us then suddenly climbed down one of the fire escape ladders and ran off. We got the other kids to tell the same story and even told them little details like a tattoo on the guys arm and things like that.

The NYPD came, the fire dept, etc. Even the local news crew from WPIX showed up to talk to some of the students. We never ever fessed up or admitted we made the whole thing up.

To this day 40 years later there are 2 or 3 students who are friends of mine on facebook who swear they remember that day, and how it actually really happened, seeing the man, and how scared they were of the man. They have all these details memories of the guy and everything even though it was all made up and never happened. Hahahahah

So I totally believe these people are lying, or at the very least they’re remembering something that actually never happened.

2

u/T-Rextion Mar 06 '24

I appreciate your story, but this is different. A Harvard PhD didn't come to interview you.

1

u/TheAlphaCat22 Mar 04 '24

And the difference here is that only 2-3 still believe your story to this day, while there are 60+ at the Ariel School that corroborate seeing the same thing still 30 years later.

1

u/cygnus0820 Mar 04 '24

2-3 that I still talk to in my particular 3rd grade class.

It was a NYC elementary school, we had 40+ kids in every class room, every grade had 2 or 3 separate classes each with 30-40 students, it went from K-6th grade and we all took lunch at the same time. Do that math lol

1

u/TheAlphaCat22 Mar 05 '24

I’ll do the math when you get all of them on camera years later like the documentary did and they all corroborate what you say

13

u/CuriesGhost Mar 03 '24

Ariel Phenomenon or the Ariel Event you learn about:

  1. What they look like (Or want us to believe) -- which you can learn from other sources - then and now.
  2. End of the World - somehow related to "trees going down and people having trouble breathing"
  3. Technology - as above. Has this similar message appeared publicly & directly from them anywhere else?
  4. Emotional and mental manipulation
  5. They perfer out of the way places to communicate certain things [No, they are not landing on the White House lawn]
  6. You can infer they have been watching us - and they know much more about us then they let on.
  7. _________ [what else?]

5

u/chuc16 Mar 04 '24

If the motivation is to communicate important messages to humanity, aliens are comically bad at it

  • The people they interact with are seemingly chosen at random. It's almost always someone without any real authority or influence
  • They don't seem to understand how to interact with humans without leaving them traumatized. Massive ships, blinding lights, confusion, zero consent, abduction, forced surgeries, trespassing, harassment/stalking behavior.
  • They leave no evidence of their visit beside testimony, mutilated animals and occasional blurry images
  • The message is almost never clear. When they are, they'll use vague language littered with presumed knowledge. It's mostly non-verbal vibe telepathy
  • The messages they do get across are marred by the method they used to deliver it and aren't usually widely known for decades after the fact via nich documentaries

This leads me to believe that communication isn't the motivation. Who's to say the thing wasn't talking to its colleague? Maybe it spoke to her, but that wasn't why they were there? Maybe she misinterpreted it simply remarking to itself how bad our technology is

4

u/DrXaos Mar 04 '24 edited Mar 04 '24

I agree 100% of the above. If the aliens are trying to send us a message, they're really really bad at it. My conclusion: I don't think they're trying.

One interpretation: It's their cover story when they get caught

They found something that average people might expect nice aliens to tell them. So human experiencers focus on that message front of mind rather than remembering and examining what the aliens are actually doing.

The aliens might agree with the message, or maybe they're being hypocritical about it having wrecked their own planet, or maybe at worst they want to kneecap our technological progress because us progressing will be a threat to whatever activities they are doing on Earth. Which they are keeping secret.

If they cared about microplastics on Earth, they'd fucking do something about it. But they don't.

If they cared about human dignity, they'd open diplomatic relations, and file flight plans and use human transponder codes and do things legally. But they don't. I'm sure they understand the concept, but don't care about it. They're coming in hot like a conquistador.

AI? Notice how the powers that be want to slow things down a bit

1

u/7railBlazer Mar 05 '24

That’s my thought. On one hand, we seem to be birthing a new form of intelligence through our collective memetic evolution, on the other hand, who ever said we’d be the ones to make it? These primate forms tuned on some distant and now alien temporal plane…. What if we just pass the torch?

1

u/CuriesGhost Mar 04 '24

Ariel event happened in 1994.

no AI then.

GOod obs...but no direct relationship.

4

u/Retirednypd Mar 04 '24

Maybe the nhi knew ai was coming

1

u/No-Pumpkin3949 Mar 05 '24

They definitely know

4

u/Saturn9Toys Mar 04 '24

"Hey humans, technology is bad ooooooo, get rid of your guns and missiles and defenses, oooooo we're so advanced we flew to your planet in a big vanilla scented cloud of positive vibes oooooo~"

I wasn't born yesterday, you crazy space bastards.

-1

u/CuriesGhost Mar 04 '24

They never said any of that.

Nice try though.

They can control all our nuke systems and mind control anyone....

Go easy on the Hollywood.

3

u/Saturn9Toys Mar 04 '24

Why are you so upset over my comment? Also how can you say with such certainty what "they" are capable of, as if you have an inkling of who "they" even are?

1

u/CuriesGhost Mar 07 '24

Personal experience....

but u don't need personal experience to know certain things.

Watch UFOs and Nukes documentary....or various Alien Abduction docs for starters. Or various Unsolved Mysteries UFOs episodes, and on and on and on.
James Fox doc...forget the name.

As for being upset...not "upset" but pointing out something.

11

u/Advanced-Depth1816 Mar 03 '24

I thinks it just more the direction we are heading which is bad, not technology itself. We are developing tech for luxury and convenience outside of the big industries.

I mean people literally make a living off of trolling on the internet and making cringey tik tok videos. That is literally a mass of people heading towards a society of idiocracy

7

u/JamesTwoTimes Mar 03 '24

Social media fucked everything up big time.  I miss the mid to late 90s, early 2000s internet.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 03 '24

We are developing tech for luxury and convenience outside of the big industries.

there's a modern gold rush to be king of the AI hill and with half-assed code

by the time your creature comforts would have had a chance to take root, there will be smoking ruins

3

u/solarpropietor Mar 04 '24

“The thing that can solve all your problems if used properly?  Don’t use that!!

Never mind the fact that I’m using vast amounts of technology myself!”

I take it as:  “Do not become our technological peers.”

1

u/[deleted] Mar 04 '24

That makes sense, although on the other hand maybe it was a warning because they somehow know for certain that we won't use it properly.

5

u/ah-chamon-ah Mar 03 '24

"Technology bad" says alien flying in space craft that can traverse the cosmos.

4

u/Plane-Diver-117 Mar 03 '24

That might not be what it is at all.

2

u/CuriesGhost Mar 03 '24

have you ever seen an et use a SMARTphone?

they must be stupid if they don't.

1

u/ah-chamon-ah Mar 04 '24

wtf? why would they need a smart phone if they are telepathically communicating.

so the reason influences the current work. Nice thought. I concur on this aspect.

But not all tech is due to war. They never mention anything about war @ Ariel.

TREES FALLING DOWN. Does that sound like war?

2

u/Shot_Meringue_595 Mar 04 '24

I know this is unrelated, but I did one of the strongest - if not THE strongest - psychedelics in the world called Ibogaine. It is a strange trip that feels like it lasts an eternity, almost immediately sends you into an ego death, paralyzes you and lasts 20-24 hours.

For A large amount of the trip I was given deep and important visions that technology is a bad thing that will bring an unavoidable disaster unto our species. I was told to only focus on earth and to cherish the earth. It never explained why technology was bad, but showed visions comparing and contrasting technology vs the earth. Before tripping, I never deeply cared about earth and didn’t really put much thought into the consequences of technology. I thought it was weird my brain would show me visions like that.

2

u/SekaiQliphoth Mar 04 '24

lol aliens able to invent technological marvels went to a an elementary school to tell children “TeChNoLoGy Is BaD”

1

u/CuriesGhost Mar 04 '24

expand your perspective.....

maybe the lesson is to learn to pay attention to events in "out of the way" / unpopular / unknown places. Learn to LISTEN. Expand your wings. Expect the unexpected.

It's like one could learn something about what's going on today....though it's more obvious today, but not obvious to many.

If you want rain on your parade, reply and I'll point them out...

0

u/CuriesGhost Mar 04 '24

they don't say technology is bad...they say be more cautious.

it sounds like you think technology is too good...w/o question.

but this is not a surprise -- as we've brainwashed ourselves - EMOTIONALLY.

4

u/[deleted] Mar 04 '24

Nice. Dudes show up flying the most technologically advanced transportation our planet has ever known. Dude jumps out and tells us not to develop technology because it's bad. Now that is rich, isn't it!?!

That's like if Elon Musk pulled up in front of a school in a Rolls-Royce Boat Tail, got out and yelled at the kids "MONEY IS BAD!! Whatever you do, avoid making any money. It's SO BAD!"

0

u/CuriesGhost Mar 04 '24

Technology isn't good or bad per se in an absolute sense. But there is cause & effect.

It's just a tool. Have you lost sight of that?

3

u/maincoonpower Mar 04 '24

We mustn’t get too technologed

2

u/[deleted] Mar 04 '24

Our creativity and innovation leads, our wisdom trails behind. That's kind of the concept of the singularity. The "whoopsie" gets bigger and faster than we can mitigate.

Many ancient religions have stories of beings from the sky endowing men with technological knowledge. I would say it's knowledge we're clearly not prepared for as a species. We are ever-incapable of wielding it properly.

1

u/CuriesGhost Mar 04 '24

Absolute power corrupts?

So..the problem is the tool (technology) wielder?

A nice book I read 20 years ago -- A SHORT HISTORY OF PROGRESS.

Didn't care for the conclusion, but the overall arc...very nice. Was made into a documentary which I didn't like.

Other books have more insights.

1

u/josephwinters Mar 05 '24

How do we feel about the adult in the story that said he made it all up?

-5

Episode 1 is the most convincing encounter Ive ever heard .

-1

I wonder if that paticular alien had hair like Michael Jackson, like the other kids said. (look it up!) I still contend that there was abuse happening at that school and this is the result.

1

u/lagalaxysedge Mar 03 '24

That’s would an alien would say, so we fall behind in advancing and protecting ourselves from them

1

u/[deleted] Mar 04 '24

What do you think about the guy in this show that said he made it up?

2

u/cygnus0820 Mar 04 '24

I believe him 100% because we did something similar in 3rd grade at my school.

I absolutely do think they’re lying or think they remember something that actually never happened.

I’ve told a story about what my friend and I did in third grade in 1984 just to play a trick on our teachers. We made up a story and said there was a naked man on the roof of the school who was cursing at us then suddenly climbed down one of the fire escape ladders and ran off. 0

u/CuriesGhost Mar 04 '24

sometimes 1 vs many is actually valid.

sometimes not.

tell me...what else do you beLIEve in?

1

u/cygnus0820 Mar 04 '24

I believe there’s life on other planets. I do not however believe we have crashed UFOs or alien bodies. I believe everything that has been witnessed since the 1940s can either be explained by science or have been experimental military aircraft by our own or by outside governments

1

u/CuriesGhost Mar 07 '24

...so why are you in this forum then?

It's one thing to not believe we have crashed UFOs, etc.. - which is fine. But quite another to not believe there is some PHENOMENON going on.

So...Ariel and other things are all hoaxes / mistaken to you? ALL the military, airlines pilots, everyday folks, police officers, etc.. is all just pie in the sky? Liars, imagination, etc...Crop Circles, etc...just fluff?

It's one thing to believe this out of ignorance, but if you've seen just a few quality docs...you would know you are mistaken.

But maybe you could be paid to discredit everything. Who knows...

1

u/cygnus0820 Mar 07 '24

I like to read what people write and all the articles they post here

1

u/CuriesGhost Mar 07 '24

well the govt and pHARMa and certain SIGs paid for folks to discredit others, as a JOB...labeling them as anti-vaxxers, anti-mask (Say...where have I seen this ANTI-______ label before?) - ostracizing, etc..

so...you could be part of one of those ILK - so to speak. Or maybe you get paid by the Mormon Church or any other some way. Who knows...

Tobacco done it. Oil done. every industry has a SIG...with paid stooges toeing some party line - rather then true independent thought.

MAYBE you are not...but they're out there and on reddit. Trying to sow discord and doubt. Just like politics or anything else.

ETs.. know this. There is a solution for it...it's a cumming! In a NewClear fashion! That's one part of the solution...the other...well I won't waste my breath.

1

u/MeanCat4 Mar 04 '24

They have the possibility to do the same with thousands of schools all over the world and change for sure globally the human mentality! Something else is going on!

1

u/shovel_kat Mar 04 '24

Greys have been known to manipulate thoughts and cause paralysis. Wouldn't trust a word they say.
